Story
Chance is a 10 month old Llewellin English Setter from excellent hunting lineage. He needs to be with someone that will continue training him as a bird dog. He is house trained and sleeps in wire crate, but he wants to be outside during the daytime. He needs a large outdoor kennel or a secure fence. If running free in the yard he will try to dig up anything that smells interesting. He has a very high prey drive. If he’s inside during the day and hears any wildlife activity he will run around the house trying to see outside until he’s let out. Chance has separation anxiety issues and bonds to one person mostly. He likes my wife but prefers me. I work long hours and am not able to give him the training he needs. Chance is skittish around new people that come in the house. He has a protective instinct. As long as he’s outside during the daytime, he’s happy. Chance would probably be best with a single male owner or a couple that can both train him.
