DO YOU REMEMBER??? Just a short 30 days ago Minnie was being posted all over the internet . ?? The shelter was tagged so many times in repeated posts we couldn’t keep up. We attempted to make sense out of the stories being told about a dog who was allegedly being physically abused in the most horrific of ways.While this situation was unfolding, countless people were pleading to be able to take this girl , to offer her a home , to bring her to safety and to give her a family .We pulled her from that situation and determined that thankfully the story of her abuse was completely false and unfounded but she was still much safer being a part of the shelter world .We are hopeful that she will not become another dog sitting for years in a kennel awaiting a family. Minnie is a 2 year old, 70 pound Coonhound. She cannot reside with cats as she has a prey drive , and she doesn’t like other dogs in this confined setting .We were told that she previously did well with other dogs during play but we cannot confirm this .Please give this girl the home that’s she’s so deserving of ! She wants nothing more than to please her person.She’s so excited to go outside and to sniff the fresh air and walk the trails talking in natures beauty.She would be nothing short of a best friend ! Rough and tumble guy looking for a forever home.  My perfect bestie wants to go hiking, swim in the pond, play ball or frisbee, and take long rides in the car.  I’m craving adventure as I’ve been here at rescue way too long and I’m soooo bored.  I like other dogs but please, I hate dog parties so don’t make me go. Kids are not a good idea for me because I’m a big active guy. No cats please because I am not a fan. Yes, I need a lot of activity and a large fenced yard is needed. I love to be outdoors and I know there is a country home out there with acres an acres just waiting for me. Apply for consideration to adopt me at www.rdrne.org. You must be at least 25 years of age, live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets within the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. ##1323762##
