Story
Currently being fostered in Louisiana! Boone should not be as happy as he is. When he was found, he was lying against the side of a warehouse, unable to walk, exhausted, and in pain. His paw pads were worn raw. He had a wound in his mouth so severe it had created a hole into his nasal cavity. However it happened- infection, trauma, something worse- he had been living with it for a long time. And then, just as he was recovering from his surgical mouth repair, he nearly didn’t make it through bloat. Emergency surgery. Another setback. Another fight. But Boone just... keeps going. Now? He’s a completely different dog. Healthy, safe, and learning what it means to be loved. He’s gentle with other dogs, kind and easy with people, and has this soft, happy way about him that doesn’t match everything he’s been through. He crates perfectly, settles in easily, and is figuring out home life more and more every day. He’s not asking for much- he's already recieved so much. Boone has done all the hard parts already. He survived, he healed, he trusted again. The only thing he’s missing now is a home that’s actually his.

Story
Billy Bob didn’t just show up as a stray - he was dumped, starving, and covered in fleas and ticks, trying to survive alongside his sister. Someone stepped in and changed everything. Over the last eight months, he’s been loved, cared for, and given the chance to grow up safe, and he’s taken that chance and run with it. Billy Bob is smart, affectionate, and full of that young hound personality. He’s house trained, crate trained, and knows his basics- sit, come, look, shake, and more. He walks well on a long leash, is friendly with other dogs, and greets people like he’s known them forever. He loves his bones, loves treats, and settles into home life easily. He does best being fed separately from other dogs, but otherwise he’s a happy, easygoing companion who just wants to be part of the action. The kind of dog who will follow you around, check in often, and then flop down nearby like he belongs there - because he does. The only reason Billy Bob is still looking is because the person who saved him is now facing health issues and is no longer able to care for him and his sister. What was meant to be forever turned into something temporary, and now he needs a real home. He’s done the hard part already. Now he just needs someone to make sure he never ends up back where he started.

Story
Tamera is here to have a good time and make sure everyone else does too. At a year old, This girl already has quite the story. Rescued from a Walmart parking lot as a young, energetic pup, Tamera was one of the lucky ones- a Helpless Hound who found her way out of the rescue system and into a home of her own. Unfortunately, sometimes even good matches don't last forever. Through no fault of her own, Tamera is back and looking for her real forever this time. In foster, she's grown into a happy, healthy, very goofy girl with a big personality. Tamera is the kind of dog who keeps things interesting. She's always convinced it's mealtime and will happily run to her crate and wait just in case food might appear. When she needs to go outside, she makes sure you know by confidently knocking on the door. She's playful, a little chaotic in the best way, and has fully embraced her role as the fun, slightly annoying sibling who keeps everyone on their toes. Tamera is affectionate, social, and loves being part of whatever is going on. She's house trained, crate trained, and knows some basics like sit, stay, and go to bed, but she's still very much in her puppy phase and brings that energy with her. She'll play hard, make you laugh, and occasionally invent her own entertainment, including chasing her tail in circles like it's a full time job- one that she's really impressively good at. She's looking for a home that can match her energy, keep up with her antics, and continue guiding her as she grows up. Tamera is a lot of personality in one dog, and for the right home, she's going to be an incredibly fun and loving companion.

Story
Charlene wasn’t just found- she was dumped, starving, covered in fleas and ticks, and trying to survive alongside her brother. Someone chose to stop, pick them up, and give them a chance. Over the last eight months, she’s been loved, cared for, and taught what it means to be safe, and she’s made the most of it. Charlene is house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and already knows her basics. She’s smart, affectionate, and has that easy, loving personality that makes her feel like she’s always been part of your home. She’s great with other dogs, friendly with people, and has been around kids. She eats separately from other dogs but otherwise fits in easily and happily. She’s the kind of dog who settles in beside you, follows you from room to room, and just wants to be included in your life. The only reason she’s still looking is because the person who saved her is now facing health issues and no longer has the capacity to keep her and her brother. This was never supposed to be temporary for Charlene, but life had other plans. She’s come so far from where she started. Now she just needs someone to make sure she never has to start over again.
