History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! A Note from the Foster: Hi! My name is Marsha but my foster family usually just calls me “pretty pittie” because have you seen my gorgeous stripes and sweet heart nose? 🥰 I am young, athletic, smart, energetic, and loving. A human with a lot of those same qualities would be my perfect match! I am already crate trained, housetrained, and know some commands - I learn really fast because I love food and am super smart. I also love people! So much that sometimes I don’t understand why I can’t say hello to everyone I see and jump on them because I get SO excited! 😆 I live with two teenage boys and love them a lot. I am strong though and since I am still learning how to contain all that love, I might be too much for little kids that are smaller than me. I also live with 2 other dogs - both girls like me! It took a while for me to trust them but we hang out with each other now. I still don’t want to play with them though. I’d probably get along best with a boy dog who just wants to chill. Or I would be fine being your one and only pet! Here are things I like to do: 🏃‍♀️ I am an honorary member of my mom’s run club! I’d love to be your running buddy. Hike - I am always up for an adventure! Walk - I like to go for walks every day to check out the neighborhood 🧩- I like doing puzzles to keep my 🧠 busy Learn! I really like to learn new tricks and commands - I would be the valedictorian of any class! Curling up in front of the fire and taking naps Here are things I need to work on: Loose leash walking Staying calm in exciting situations - like passing by people or 🐕 on a walk or seeing a 🐿️ !!
