This pretty little English Bulldog girl is called Natasha and she is guessed to be 8 years or a little more, and weighs 42 lb. She was found at a construction site wandering as a stray in a small town in Middle Tennessee. The people that found her couldn't believe that such a sweet girl could possibly be lost. After posts were made on Facebook and social media, no one ever came forward to claim her. The shelter was full at her small town and the people that found her just could not take her there even if it could accept her. She's too special. This little girl is recovering from a former flea infestation and has some patches on her back that are missing hair but growing hair back now. She's got the normal senior hip arthritis and needs some pain meds from time to time and some good joint medicine will help a great deal. Her teeth are good, her eyesight is fine and her sweet personality is over the top of the chart. She's affectionate with everyone and oh so sweet. We have found her to be good with other dogs and housebroken. We have not tried her with cats, but she seems to have the personality that would be loving and welcoming to all creatures that she meets. She walks a little slower as can be expected at her age, but she exudes a gratitude for having been given a place to stay. As they always say, a rescue dog will always let you know that they appreciate what you have done for them. With Natasha you can see it in her eyes and her spirit. She is a joy that someone needs to have in their life. If you understand the Bulldog breed, then you will be happy to know that this is a rare girl to be offered. She's healthy and all other ways except a little arthritis and missing a little bit of hair. Natasha is special and we are looking for that very special person or family to adopt her. A GENEROUS DONOR HAS COVERED THIS DOG'S VET COSTS, GIVING YOU A REDUCED ADOPTION FEE! Virginia was dumped out pregnant and despite going up to several homes and people, no one tried to help. She eventually wandered up to an empty house to have her three babies and thankfully someone finally took pity and reach out to get her help. Now Virginia and two of her puppies - Violet & Vince - are still waiting for families of their own and they are all on the URGENT list as their shelter is over full and they are running out of time. This girl is going to make someone a fabulous companion! She walks very well on a leash and is learning not to pull. She is potty-trained and is active but not hyper, does not jump, nor does she guard her food or toys. Virginia LOVES to go for car rides, especially if there's a burger and a pup-cup involved. And when she is on outings, she is the perfect lady when walking around the store - she was polite, greeted everyone, picked out a chew toy and treats. She takes a treat ever-so-gently and is just an overall "Good Girl!" Her absolute favorite thing is playing with her tennis ball or squeaky ball!! No stuffy toys for this girl. She loves to be with her person but if you are busy, she is content to play by herself too. Virginia does well with kids and loves every human she meets but she does not love other dogs, and we recommend she be an only-pet home. Virginia is looking for a family to include her on their adventures and show her all the love this mama dog deserves!! This girl is an absolute LOVE and deserves the best home ever! This sweet friendly little girl has been described as calm and quiet. She loves to play and retrieve and has lived with cats and small dogs, without any issues. Some information about her breeding... Kind but courageous, friendly but dignified, the Bulldog is a thick-set, low-slung, well-muscled bruiser whose 'sourmug' face is the universal symbol of courage and tenacity. These docile, loyal companions adapt well to town or country. You can't mistake a Bulldog for any other breed. Lola has had an ACL treatment and is said to be fine, although still on a limited activity schedule. No stairs, limited activity and no playing with big dogs. Some crate time for rest will be continued for a while too, both day and night rest periods. Lola's adoption fee is $400 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. They are 6 1/2-month-old mixes of Shar-Pei and Retriever, currently weighing between 14-18 pounds with estimated mature weights of 45 pounds. These pups wear medium-length solid black coats except for Mercedes and Porsche, who have some white markings on their chests. They enjoy playing with other dogs and toys and have recently discovered their love of water. Adopt one of these pups and surround yourself with a lifetime of sweetness and happiness!
