Hello, my name is Dotty. I had kind of a rough start in life. Living outside not getting the medical or social attention I need. Do to that sometimes I aggressively ask for attention. However I love cuddles and attention. I like to play tug of war and hug. I'm looking for a family that wants to spoil me. Letting me sleep inside and spending lots of time with me. Spending long periods of time alone makes me sad. I prefer younger pet siblings because they like to play with me. My hair is growing back and I feel beautiful and frisky and would love to meet and play. My adoption fee is $450 locally and $650 out of state (includes health certificate and travel fees). We found her like most of our other dogs but she has not able to get along with our other female dog. I have kept her separate from the others but it has put a strain on my roommates. She is lovable one on one and loves to play fetch. Looking for an experienced pet owner who doesn’t have children or pets.

Gidget is a 35 lb, squishy American Bully. Gidget has allergies and has been through extensive testing. She currently needs allergy medication and will need to continue them throughout her life. She is good with other dogs and enjoys running with kids. Dogs prefer her when they match her energy. She is not a couch potato, has plenty of energy, but will settle down and cuddle while watching TV with you. She LOVES squeaky toys, tennis balls, and treat puzzles. She loves nothing more than hanging out with her humans but does well in a kennel or alone in the house while gone. She couldn't care less about thunderstorms or fireworks. Mr. B has been the perfect houseguest in his foster home - he is kennel trained for those times that you need to leave home, but prefers to be sitting next to you or laying on the floor on his back so you can scratch his tummy. He likes to go for walks, but not too fast or too far. He enjoys car rides, especially from the passenger seat (he does need a little encouragement to stay on his side of the front seat). He's not loud, but he will bark (more like the sound a velociraptor makes in the Jurassic Park movies) when he needs to go outside. Mr. B is your typical Olde English Bulldog, stubborn but oh so loveable! He is a messy eater, so be prepared to wipe his loveable face after every meal. He requires a high quality dog food, if not, he has the most noxious farts...ever...like house clearing! He also requires periodic help cleaning his eyes and ears, and sometimes even his bottom. Occasionally he does jump up to get your attention, we are trying to break this habit but to be safe, no small children. Mr. B was returned to the Rescue in December 2023 after being in an adopter's home for 3 years. We took him to our Vet for a full exam, urinalysis, bloodwork, x-rays and heartworm test to determine his health. His bloodwork is normal and x-rays show that his heart looks normal and he has the usual elder statesman bulldog lungs. We had both his ears cleaned and treated with antibiotics, entropion surgery on his right eye and a dental cleaning and surgery to remove two infected teeth. Mr. B does have scars from his previous life on the streets and is missing one toe on his left front foot. It doesn't slow him down any, but he does walk with a limp. Mr. B completed fast kill heartworm treatment on February 1-2, 2024. He will need to remain on heartworm prevention for the rest of his life to prevent reinfection. Story
Brutus is a sweet English bulldog, who is good with dogs, cats, humans, children and everyone. He is affectionate, funny, and quiet. Brut can live alone and also with another dog. He was abused by one of his many homes he has moved from, and gets fearful if you raise your hand. He will cower in fear. So we need a very loving but confident parent for him. He does not like changes, therefore he needs to go to a home where he is going to have a permanent life. Even though he loves kids, given his anxiety, we will prefer a home without children. Brut is about 65 lbs now, fully vetted, current on vaccination, and is neutered and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative and kept on preventatives.
