Beau’s journey hasn’t been easy—he was used for breeding and cruelly discarded once he was no longer 'useful.' He was found abandoned outside an apartment building in North Texas, in heartbreaking condition. When he came into our care, Beau was suffering from severe skin infections, painful ear infections, and damage to his only remaining eye—his other eye had already been removed. But Beau is a fighter. With lots of love, veterinary care, and time, he’s now healed and ready for his fresh start. Beau has limited vision in his remaining eye, but don’t let that fool you—he gets around just fine and doesn’t let it slow him down. He can hear well and absolutely adores people. His favorite things? Belly rubs, gentle attention, and simply being near his humans. Due to the fact that Beau was never socialized as a puppy, he is dog reactive and will need to be an only dog. This sweet boy is looking for an angel—a foster or adopter—who will give him the love and security he’s always deserved.
