Story
Tater has been doing very well in his foster home since being returned to our care after four years. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve gotten to know him again, and one thing is clear—he is an incredibly sweet and loving dog. Tater is well-behaved, quiet, and laid-back. He was returned because he began guarding his adopters from the other dog in the home, whom he had lived with since puppyhood. We offered to send a trainer, but after learning they had moved to Ohio, it became clear that long-distance support wouldn’t be an option. Given how long this behavior has gone unaddressed, we believe Tater would do best as an only dog. That said, Tater enjoys going on walks, does well on a leash, and is not reactive to other dogs. He loves people, including children, and is both house trained and crate trained. While he does fine in a crate, he also does well free in the home and doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t—he’s just a good boy all around. Tater is a 4 year old English Bulldog/Pit Bull mix. If you’re interested in meeting or adopting him, apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days.*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck*Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption feeDogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption feeRescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##949210##

Story
Tyler is a gentle soul; one of the emotionally softest dogs you will ever meet. He had a hard start somewhere, we think he was pushed around and probably had a hard-handed owner in his puppyhood. Finally he’s learned to expect good things from humans in his life, learning to love belly rubs and head scratches. He lives with lots of other dogs and gets along with or avoids them. He seems to think the dogs that want to rough house and play might hurt him so while he could live with other dogs he wouldn’t be a good playmate for another kiddo in his home.Initially Tyler was terribly afraid of a leash but will now leash walk with gentle coaching, he can not be pulled or forced which scares him still. He will now go through doorways and use a doggie door but will need time to adjust to both in a new environment. His foster mom usually just leaves a door wide open for him or takes him through with a leash. He’s come a long way but still has work to do in those areas. He doesn’t have much vision in his right eye which may be why he has trouble with steps/stairs and should be in a home where he doesn’t have to navigate those on a regular basis. He is also a bit hard of hearing so getting his attention through sight is imperative.Tyler has learned to come when his foster calls him and how to suck up when he wants her attention. He is a handsome, English Bulldog and is very typical of the breed other than learning his true worth.Tyler is fully vetted - current with his vaccines, neutered, on heartworm and flea/tick prevention; and he is microchipped.

Dear Lulu had her heart broken when her family abandoned her at a high-kill shelter and is still a sad soul waiting for someone she can totally devote herself to. She needs to be an only furchild in her home and would be perfect for a senior home that wants a loving older dog to join their family.Lulu is very much a house dog, she enjoys some time outside and occasionally sunning but prefers the luxury of the indoors. She has great house manners and enjoys her walks, nap time, and being close to her people. Lulu is fully vetted - current with vaccines, on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, microchipped and spayed.

Story
Hiya! I’m Chewbacca and I am a 1 1/2 year old French Bulldog boy. Can you guess why my name is Chewbacca? I am super soft and fluffy! I am just a cool dude and I have a great personality. I love my humans so much, I don’t want them to ever leave my eyesight. I came from a bad situation, so I am still learning how to be a wonderful dog. I like to play with the other doggies, but sometimes I play too hard. I am crate trained and learning to walk on the leash and potty outside. I would love a family that can continue my training. I am a strong boy and like to jump, so I need a family that can handle me. I love playing in the sprinkler, and maybe a pool too! I am super affectionate and cuddly, and I would love a family that can love on me forever! Will that be you? My adoption fee is $825.Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. Story
Introducing Tigger…..That’s me I am a wonderfully funny boy who is searching for my forever home.  I am good with other Dogs and Cats.  I walk well on a leash and enjoy my evening walks when it is cooler outside during the hot summer temperatures.  I am what they call a water baby and I enjoy the pool in my foster home, BUT I am not a good swimmer so I must wear a Life Jacket otherwise I will sink to the bottom.  Even with a Life Jacket I require “hands on” assistance as I paddle around.  My life prior to coming into rescue was not the best as I was used as a breeding machine only, neglected of medical care and love.  I will need a home that can help continue my potty training as I currently wear a belly band which prevents me from having accidents in the home.  I am crate trained and I do fine while left alone when you are away.  I am cuddly as any Tigger should be and I have found the joy of Toys, but I do not like to share my toys at all.  If you have children I will need a home with High school aged children as I am more comfortable with slow movements as I just can’t trust the small children that run, jump and make loud noises.  I am not a fan of going to see the Vet….my foster Mom is a Veterinarian, Yes you heard me right….. so this was quite a stretch for me….I have learned to love her, but I still am unsure when I see her as a patient.   Are you ready to add a Tigger to your life?  Then don’t delay adopt a Tigger today! Story
Howdy people! My name is Bennie and I am a 7 year, 28 pound Frenchie. My foster mom says I am a little couch potato, and I look like one too! I like to play with my brother Rockie. We are a bonded pair, I love him so much! I am house, crate, and leash trained. I’m pretty low energy, so I would be ok with seniors. I get along just fine with kids and other doggies. I do have some lacerations on my eye so I will need to continue with my eyedrops daily for life. I’m also an itchy guy and I do require daily Prescription Apoquel Tablets as well as medicated baths in shampoo acquired at the Vet  once a month which helps tremendously keep my Allergies in check. But I love my bath time! I am such a good boy that my foster mom says she has no trouble with my grooming needs. I don’t mind adventures in the car and I like walks too. My ideal home would be a family that wants 2 super sweet boys, and loves to cuddle! My adoption fee is $475.
