She is good with other dogs and enjoys running with kids. Dogs prefer her when they match her energy. She is not a couch potato, has plenty of energy, but will settle down and cuddle while watching TV with you. She LOVES squeaky toys, tennis balls, and treat puzzles. She loves nothing more than hanging out with her humans but does well in a kennel or alone in the house while gone. She couldn't care less about thunderstorms or fireworks. I have had Lu-Liu since she was born on May 5, 2019 (she is turning 6 this year.) I love her very much but unfortunately I cannot take her to college with me. She has been around me since I was a kid and around my baby siblings. She is also great with other dogs, but may need some time to be acclimated to other animals, but she is overall super friendly and curious. She loves to play and run around in the sun, but she is not too big a fan of baths. She will do well in any home, whether it has other dogs, kids, or even by herself as long as she gets attention - she would prefer a new family with some doggy siblings or some little humans to play with. One of her favorite foods is pureed pumpkin, but she also loves bacon She is a very good girl and I would love for her to find an amazing home.

Milli has been with her family since she was a puppy however recently starting showing signs of fear and stress with the 4 year old in the family. The family has an 8 year old also and two adults that she doesn’t seem to be stressed around at all. The family hired a behaviorist upon our recommendation before rehoming and he suggested that rehoming would be best for her. She would do best in a home with kids 8 and up and be an only dog. Here’s some fun facts about her: Milli, the Ultimate Adventure Pup! Born on May 4, 2023, this spirited girl is 1 year and 9 months old and already 55 pounds of pure energy and love! She’s a healthy, happy pup—spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. Plus, she’s on heartworm and flea prevention, so she’s ready to take on the great outdoors worry-free! Speaking of the outdoors, Milli is an active, playful adventurer who lives for walks, chasing balls, and romping around outside. A yard is a must—she needs space to zoom around and burn off her endless enthusiasm! Her biggest weakness? Stuffed animals—she adores them, but… well, let’s just say supervision is key, or she might turn them into fluff confetti! If you’re looking for a fun-loving, playful companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with joy, Milli the perfect match! My name is Junebug. I am around 5-6 years old and am a bulldog or maybe a bulldog mix. My favorite activities are lounging, eating, and belly rubs! Although I’m 65 pounds, I would love nothing more than to sit in your lap and stream your favorite show! I love snuggles and would prefer to be the only dog in the home receiving them. Ellie: •Bulldog/Pit Bull mix •1 year old •45lbs •Spayed female •Crate and potty trained •Good with other dogs Ellie is a sweet, spunky, active 1 year old Bulldog/Pit Bull mix who loves playing, going on adventures, and doing anything that involves moving around! She has boundless energy and can be a little firecracker of a dog sometimes! She only weighs about 45lbs and won't get any bigger, but she still packs a whole lot of spunk in her compact body. Ellie was turned in as a stray to our local high kill shelter with scrapes and missing fur all over. We don't know what happened to her to cause this, but there is no telling as the streets of Houston are unforgiving, to say the least. Being the energetic puppy she is, she landed on the euthanasia list for exhibiting normal puppy energy, which is always brought out more from being cooped up in a small kennel for hours on end. We saw her potential and just had to rescue her. Ellie is the sweetest girl but she is not for the faint of heart! Ellie has lots of unfiltered puppy spunk and will need some training and guidance in order to become an upstanding member of society (especially in public spaces, as most puppies and adolescent dogs struggle with this!). Due to her incredible amount of energy and lack of training in her early puppyhood, Ellie does need some work on how to walk on a leash without turning a "walk" into more of a "drag." She has your typical Bulldog stubbornness but can be tempted to listen with the prospect of treats! Ellie loves hanging out and bonding with her people, and she is a great cuddle buddy once she's in the mood for it! She is a very affectionate girl and is always happy to receive any attention that comes her way! Ellie does get along with other dogs, but she seems to do best with dogs who match her level of spunk and have a similar personality to her. Introductions to other dogs are best done slowly with her, as she is still learning about boundaries and manners with other dogs. She would love to be the only dog in her new home so she can hog all the attention, but she wouldn't mind having a canine companion around either! Ellie is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.
