Easy-going, 'personable'...this stunning beefcake is loving, mellow, and just the right amount of derpy (and goofy).He's still decompressing, so he hasn't officially met his foster sibling yet, but he's so gentle and sweet that we expect him to be a match for dogs of any description.Greg is a leggy boi, so he can easily live in a home with stairs to manage, and he is one of those rare rescue dogs who are perfectly potty trained with no accidents. He was clearly someone's at some point in his short life. Greg is not a big barker and loves to self-soothe with a fun tennis ball. Lovely lady Layla is a gentle soul who loves her humans and can not wait to have a deserving family to call her own. She apparently especially loves little humans so, she is one of our few dogs who would be an excellent fit for families with younger kids. Layla would love to have someone to snuggle with all day, so at least one adult who works from home would be her ideal, and, really, a doting human is the least of what she deserves.Our incredible team of vets is giving Layla the medical care and TLC she's been lacking for so much of her life, and we expect a glow-up of epic proportions. Seriously though, seniors are THE BEST (IYKYK).Libby has made herself at home, snuggling with foster mama in the big human bed because that's what this queen deserves. She may be a senior girl, but her foster mama reports that she still has some gas in the tank and (mostly) holds her own while the other dogs rumble and play around her.Lib' loves her toys, naps, and being part of a loving, stable home.Like any senior girl, she'll do best in a home without stairs. Is anything NOT possible when good people come together to provide love, some good old-fashioned vet care, and plenty of TLC ⁉️ Sweet Maynard was at death's door when we rescued him, but thanks to our rescue angels, he has made a miraculous recovery. But never fear, now he's learning what life is like as a 'normal' loved dog. We are so grateful to see him overcome many physical and emotional hurdles. Maynard only knew neglect and starvation, so his body and mind needed time to adjust and trust that life isn’t scary. The predictability of kindness and structure have done wonders. So, here's the thing with Maynard: the world outside of his home has proven to be very scary, very bad, and altogether awful. But his foster home is safe, secure, fun, and full of cuddles. So, Mr. Maynard is one of those dogs who does NOT need his humans to take him places. He will not feel like he's missing out. He will not mind spending extra hours snoozing solo, waiting for his humans to come home and love him. Maynard does not want to be the life of the party. He does not want to entertain your friends. Maynard is EXACTLY that house hippo prototypical bulldog who just wants to stay in and chill. Maynard can live successfully with a dog friend and has especially enjoys the smaller dogs in his foster home. His favorite things are going on walks, eating, mealtime 🤗, and cuddles on the couch with his humans. Kids can be loud and scary, so he must go to an adults-only home, please. Maynard is available only for adoption in Austin, TX, and surrounding areas.
