1st Adopted fro A shelter a year ago. Daughter went off to college & father’s s work had him Traveling. Than, Scout was then chosen to be in the service dog program but only a couple months into the program, his handler was unable to complete training. Now, He is back. This time, we would like a fenced in yard and maybe some teenagers to play. Neutered. Microchipped & utd on vaccinations 3/2026. Scout has shown to be a good boy. He is crate trained, house broken and has shown no behavior issues while In Foster care. Loves playing ball! Enjoys spending most of this time outside weather premiting. Gets along well with other dogs but prefers younger female dogs. Does well with car rides. Would make a great family pet. Has had basic obedience and will come with one free class with his adoption sponsored by https://thecanineclubhaus.com/about/ DNA test confirmed 22 % Bulldog/ 15% Lab etc. Adoption fee is only 75 Which will include a brand new leash & collar, new dog bed and transition food & 14 days of post adoption support. Story
Hi, my name is Tonk but my friends call me big guy. I'm a male English Bulldog. My foster mom says I am a total ham, absolutely full of love & kisses to give my furever family. I'm very puppy acting and have bursts throughout the day (doggie zoomies!) of that puppy energy. I love a fenced in yard where he can run out the afternoon zoomies and prefers to do my business in the yard, off-leash. I know the ‘sit’ command and am I VERY motivated by treats/food. I just loves to jump to give hugs or to get your attention so I could use some formal training around that. I would love a doggie playmate who matches my energy or is the calmer one in the home. I could also do well as the solo dog. Because I'm still puppy-Ish, I will need my training to continue when I get to OUR new home.    The Basics Age: 2 years Weight: 42 pounds Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date: Yes On Heartworm Prevention: Yes On Flea/Tick Prevention: Yes House-Trained: No – he is getting there with regular potty breaks Crate-Trained: Yes – he needs a little nudge and a treat to get him in the crate but once in, he is calm and he will sleep in it throughout the night.  Leash Skills: Calm until he sees an animal he can chase like a bird, squirrel, etc. Once he starts pulling, he is strong! Medical: Yes, treatment for his eye (ongoing)    Likes/Dislikes  Toys: Loves a good toy to chew! He also loves to chew/suck on blankets and his bed. He doesn’t destroy them; sometimes he even falls asleep while sucking on his blanket! Other Animals: Likes dogs that are not in his face or high energy People/Kids: Not tested with small children but LOVES all the other humans he has met.  Car Rides: He likes car rides. He should be in the backseat with a doggie seat cover/cradle to catch his drool!
