PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 STILL AVAILABLE 11/28/24 Poundcake (brown) and Shortbread (brindle) have been with me in rescue since they were 8wks old. They are now about a year old. These sweet girls have spina bifida which has left them completely incontinent. Other than incontinence, they have no other health problems. They are so deserving of a good life and forever home. They do well with diapers but require frequent changes because they are constantly dribbling. It would be helpful to express their bladders fully before diapering, to reduce their output. They currently sleep in a crate with a grate in bottom to stay clean. And they spend time on my porch which can be hosed off, on nice days. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to devote the time they deserve. They need homes of their own! They are SO SWEET. They can be adopted separately or together. They are excellent with other dogs of all sizes. They currently weigh about 45-50 lbs. They are spayed and up to date on everything. If anyone is interested in giving them a good forever home, this is the adoption application. https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.    Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Story
Everyone, meet Tootsie Pop. Tootsie is an English Bulldog weighing in at 56lbs. Tootsie found herself in our care after being surrendered by her commercial breeder. Hi Friends, Im Tootsie. I’m on the search for my family… could you be them?!? I’m a super adorable little meatball. Um friendly, outgoing and I love to cuddle. Labs are my favorite resting place. I currently live in a home with lots of other doggies and some kitties and we all get along great!!! Tootsie is doing well learning to walk on a leash and is also doing well with potty training. She has not spent much time in a crate since she has been in foster care. Her foster mom gates her in a small room when she leaves and she has been perfectly content. Tootsie is UTD on all his vaccines and preventatives and he has already been spayed. If you feel like she would make a great addition to your family, please visit our website at www.Zoeshouserescue.com and apply. Zoes House, Inc Kennel license # 9117 Po box 2372 Reading pa 19608

Story
Country is an 8-year-old senior that acts like a puppy that acts just like a puppy! He's EXTREMELY toy motivated and does tend to get protective over them. He is squeaky little guy that has a lot to say. Country was surrendered to us with his sister who has since been adopted. Country is sad being in such a stressful environment and is counting the days till the right person comes along for him.

Story
The Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold. Samson was rescued as a stray.   Samson is a big, lovable Old English Bulldog with a gentle nature and a deep affection for people, especially children. He's a calm and relaxed companion who isn't easily startled by loud noises or playful activity. Samson is incredibly emotionally intelligent and attuned to the needs of those around him. He's quick to offer comfort and support, making him an ideal companion for families or individuals seeking a loyal and empathetic friend. Like most bully breeds, Samson unfortunately may need continuous allergy meds during allergy season to keep his skin healthy and keep him happy and comfortable.  He's calm, relaxed, and not easily startled by loud noises or playful activity. Samson absolutely adores people, especially children. He thrives on human companionship and is happiest when he's surrounded by his loved ones. Samson is remarkably in tune with the emotions of those around him. He's quick to offer comfort and support, making him an ideal companion for families or individuals seeking an empathetic friend. Samson doesn't require a lot of exercise. While he enjoys walks and is learning to play, he's also content to relax and snuggle up with his loved ones. Samson is generally well-behaved. He walks well on a leash (except when he sees other dogs),is house-trained (with a few minor accidents), and rarely barks. He would do best as the only dog in the home!    Click this link to apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FHPA/Dog Samson’s adoption fee is $350  January 2, 2025, 8:21 pm

Story
CODY is a three year-old English bulldog with spina bifida. This is most likely a result of inbreeding which unscrupulous breeders do to obtain unusual colors or a shortened stature. We obtained Cody when his owners felt that euthanasia was their only option. He is not mobility challenged in anyway, but he lacks tone on his tushy and does not have complete control over his poops. He will also dribble urine but has the ability to release his bladder outside. A strict schedule, good diet and a male wrap take care of 99% of his oopsies. Cody is a sweetheart! He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and he loves to run! He's pretty athletic for an English Bulldog and, as long as you avoid high humidity days, he's pretty heat tolerant and can walk up to 2 miles. Cody seems to love the water! What he loves most of all is to ride in the car! Cody will make a wonderful copilot – again, just have to be careful of the heat with bulldogs.  Cody has a little bit of separation anxiety and anxiety that makes him reactive on a leash.  His foster mom is working on these issues but it will be a work in progress. Cody will most likely require more veterinary care than the average bulldog. He is available to a family with similar experience and excellent veterinary references. The first step is to fill out an application at www.companimals.org. and once approved, we will set up a series of meet and greets and a home visit with Cody. Adoption $500. Should Cody require an MRI at any time in the future, his foster mom will personally pledge $100 towards his MRI. X-rays are available upon request if you would like to share them with your veterinarian prior to starting adoption process.November 3, 2024, 10:40 am
