PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 STILL AVAILABLE 11/28/24 Poundcake (brown) and Shortbread (brindle) have been with me in rescue since they were 8wks old. They are now about a year old. These sweet girls have spina bifida which has left them completely incontinent. Other than incontinence, they have no other health problems. They are so deserving of a good life and forever home. They do well with diapers but require frequent changes because they are constantly dribbling. It would be helpful to express their bladders fully before diapering, to reduce their output. They currently sleep in a crate with a grate in bottom to stay clean. And they spend time on my porch which can be hosed off, on nice days. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to devote the time they deserve. They need homes of their own! They are SO SWEET. They can be adopted separately or together. They are excellent with other dogs of all sizes. They currently weigh about 45-50 lbs. They are spayed and up to date on everything. If anyone is interested in giving them a good forever home, this is the adoption application. https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.    Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. At just over two years old, she’s already proven to be a devoted companion who thrives on human interaction. She recently finished raising a litter of puppies who have all found their forever homes—now it’s Harley’s turn!PersonalityHarley is affectionate with all people and especially loves children. However, her excitement around little ones can sometimes be overwhelming, so she’d do best in a home with older kids who can handle her enthusiasm. She’s also housebroken and crate trained, making her a well-mannered housemate. While Harley adores humans, she does not enjoy other animals in her personal space, she will need to be the only pet in her new home. Harley’s leash manners are a work in progress, as she tends to pull during walks, but she’s eager to learn with consistent training and guidance.Traits and Ideal HomeAs a typical English Bulldog, Harley is:- Loving and Loyal: She forms strong bonds with her humans and loves being the center of attention.- Stubborn and Independent: Bulldogs are known for their stubborn streak, and Harley is no exception! Patience and positive reinforcement are key to working with her personality.- Playful and Energetic: While she loves snuggles, Harley also enjoys bursts of activity and needs regular exercise to stay healthy and happy.- Strong-Willed: Bulldogs are known for their strength and determination, so a confident and experienced owner will be ideal for Harley.Harley would thrive in a home where she can be the sole focus of attention and affection. A fenced yard where she can safely play and explore would be a bonus, and her new family should have experience with strong, independent breeds like the Bulldog.Love and AffectionHarley is a loving, playful, and people-oriented dog who is ready to bring endless joy to her forever family. With her expressive eyes and irresistible personality, she’s sure to make a loyal and devoted companion.Ready to Make Harley Part of Your Family? If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and lively dog who will be your one-and-only, Harley is waiting for you. Country is an 8-year-old senior that acts like a puppy that acts just like a puppy! He's EXTREMELY toy motivated and does tend to get protective over them. He is squeaky little guy that has a lot to say. Country was surrendered to us with his sister who has since been adopted. Country is sad being in such a stressful environment and is counting the days till the right person comes along for him.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Brief Description: This is "Pudge." What you see is what you get...easy going, calm, well...lazy. :) Likes: Being a couch potato, chewing on Nylabones, eating, sleeping...he's a guy with simple pleasures. Dislikes: Having is nails clipped. Having to wait more than 30 seconds for his food when it's being prepared. Personality: Calm. Chill. Quiet (except when food is being prepared for him). Can be stubborn! Temperament: Laid back. Not much upsets or excites Pudge. Energy level: None. Favorite activities: EATING! Watching TV on the couch with his human while he chews a bone. Good with cats, dogs, and kids (over 6)?: Cats: unknown; Dogs: great - no issues; Kids: unknown but suspect he would be absolutely fine. Haven't found anything so far Pudge isn't good with. He doesn't particularly care to have his nails clipped or baths but he tolerates both. House trained: Working on it and making good progress. It is uncertain where Pudge came from and/or if he's ever been house trained so, therefore, he was started from scratch and he's come a long way. With a consistent schedule and time to adjust he should do well. Crate trained: YES! Pudge loves his crate. Requires a fenced yard (physical fence and/or invisible fence?): No. Walks well on a leash?: When he wants to. Pudge doesn't pull or fight. He just won't walk with his human if it's not where he wants to go. Been working on that and he's doing much better. Challenges: Getting him to socialize more with people and pets. Pudge mostly keeps to himself. He is starting to make attempts to play with the other dogs and humans here and there but needs encouragement. Pudge will need lots of encouragement to get any exercise. Any medical issues?:  Pudge is currently being treated for a persistent skin infection secondary to suspected allergies. He is much improved from when he first arrived. Pudge has recovered well from recent bilateral entropion. Eye irritation and drainage is markedly decreased since the surgery. Pudge has been on a long-term antibiotic treatment and, as a result, he has been having persistent soft stools, however, it's been controlled with feeding Science Diet I/D food and Pepto-Bismol. What would be the best kind of home?:  Pudge would be perfectly happy to be an only dog getting all the attention lavished upon him; however, he is also fine with the other dogs in the household. Pudge is ideal for someone who wants a calm, easy going companion. He is not a hiking, running, or hunting dog by any means.  Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Story
Hello, This is Zeus. He is an amazing loving dog. He loves to cuddle. He loves To play and he is amazing with children. I bought him from a breeder when he was 17 weeks old. He is now a one-year-old I am hoping to find him a home where he’s going to be loved and Taken care of. Most of all where he’s going to be happy. Zeus is potty trained, but he has stomach issues so he can only eat one type of food as well as sometimes pee drips out and we haven’t been able to identify what the cause of it is so I do keep a dog diaper on him while he’s in the house, but he is fully potty trained.

In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 STILL AVAILABLE 11/21/24 ***Zara graduates from Paws in Prison in a few short weeks. We need to have an adopter waiting for her.*** Zara is rushing to greet you. She thought you were never coming home. Because you were gone forever. Like for months and years. Actually, you were at the store for a half hour. But it’s all the same to her. You’re her human, and she missed you! Just think, you could get a joyous welcome like this every time you come home. What a mental health booster! Zara is ready. All you have to do is apply. She turns 1 year old on 12/1/24. We believe she's a Bull Terrier mix. And her love is as obvious as the black and white on her coat. She is sunshine, big smiles and warm hugs. And she’s waiting on you to make a move. Prior to coming into rescue, she lived outside. She is very much still a puppy and learning that not everything goes in her mouth. She is a very sweet girl and loves all dogs. She hasn’t met a cat up close, but showed no interest in the cat that lived outside at her former home. She is fully vetted and ready to go. She is potty-trained and crate-trained, but will need someone who is patient to work with her on mouthing. She would do best in a home with at least one other dog as a playmate but this is not a requirement. She has a lot of energy, but will cuddle in bed with you at night. At Paws in Prison, she works daily with an inmate on the basics and maybe even a few tricks, and meets weekly with a dog trainer. She will graduate with her canine good citizen certificate. Story
Petey hasn't always had the best of luck, but he is the sweetest and most playful little guy you will meet! He loves his people and craves constant pets! He is young and very playful, so he needs an active home or at least a home with a backyard so that he can play! Petey is strong and loves to take walks. He has a big appetite and looks forward to mealtime and treats. Chew bones are his favorite. He is observant and is always alert and ready to please. He does well with other dogs, but has not been tested around cats. Petey got a clear bill of health from the vet and is ready to travel today to his forever home! If you are interested in adopting please visit funnyfarmpets.org where you can read all about our adoption and transport process and you can submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog The adoption fee is $399 and transport will be an additional $200 if they have to be transported out of TN where they are currently fostered.
