PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.10/27 STILL AVAILABLE  8/30/24 Poundcake and Shortbread have been with me in rescue since they were 8wks old. They will be a year old in a few weeks. These sweet girls have spina bifida which has left them completely incontinent. Other than incontinence, they have no other health problems. They are so deserving of a good life and forever home. They do well with diapers but require frequent changes because they are constantly dribbling. It would be helpful to express their bladders fully before diapering, to reduce their output. They currently sleep in a crate with a grate in bottom to stay clean. And they spend time on my porch which can be hosed off, on nice days. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to devote the time they deserve. They are SO SWEET. They love each other dearly and can not be separated. They are excellent with other dogs of all sizes. They currently weigh about 45-50 lbs. They are spayed and up to date on everything. If anyone is interested in giving them a good forever home, this is the adoption application. https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.    Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Meet Chubb 🐾 He is a 1.5 year old purebred English Bulldog. He loves attention and loves to snuggle. He is very good with young kids and other dogs. Never lived with cats but I’m sure he would be fine. He is neutered, potty trained, and UTD on vaccines. I have his papers. Chubb’s absolute favorite thing is tennis balls. 🎾 He is such a good boy ❤️

Story
CODY is a three year-old English bulldog with spina bifida. This is most likely a result of inbreeding which unscrupulous breeders do to obtain unusual colors or a shortened stature. We obtained Cody when his owners felt that euthanasia was their only option. He is not mobility challenged in anyway, but he lacks tone on his tushy and does not have complete control over his poops. He will also dribble urine but has the ability to release his bladder outside. A strict schedule, good diet and a male wrap take care of 99% of his oopsies. Cody is a sweetheart! He gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and he loves to run! He's pretty athletic for an English Bulldog and, as long as you avoid high humidity days, he's pretty heat tolerant and can walk up to 2 miles. Cody seems to love the water! What he loves most of all is to ride in the car! Cody will make a wonderful copilot – again, just have to be careful of the heat with bulldogs.  Cody has a little bit of separation anxiety and anxiety that makes him reactive on a leash.  His foster mom is working on these issues but it will be a work in progress. Cody will most likely require more veterinary care than the average bulldog. He is available to a family with similar experience and excellent veterinary references. The first step is to fill out an application at www.companimals.org. and once approved, we will set up a series of meet and greets and a home visit with Cody. Adoption $500. Should Cody require an MRI at any time in the future, his foster mom will personally pledge $100 towards his MRI. X-rays are available upon request if you would like to share them with your veterinarian prior to starting adoption process.November 3, 2024, 10:40 am

Fostered from a friend who could no longer keep her. Nudge is very out going , too friendly ( gets in strangers cars) and loves to sleep. Nudge is 5 years old looking for a home with a descent yard for her morning, afternoon , midnight zoomies. Nudge loves to explore different neighborhoods and different hikes around town. Nudge currently lives with a 6 month old but due to her playful nature they stay on opposite ends of the home.
