HISTORY: Blitz and another English Bulldog were dropped at a shelter. PERSONALITY: Sweet, sweet girl! FAVORITE ACTIVITIES: Loves to snuggle, take naps, get belly rubs, and go on walks. MEDICAL ISSUES: None. WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST KIND OF HOME: Blitz would love a home where she gets lots of attention. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Blitz is a fantastic dog and any family would be lucky to have her. She gets along with other dogs, young children, and adults. She is crate trained but does not need a crate. She walks well on a leash and listens well. She is house-trained and does not chew on anything she is not supposed to. Application Fees, Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy: Please know that 100% of our fees and donations pay for the costs of rescuing dogs. These include but are not limited to pull fees from shelters, veterinary examinations, vaccinations, medications and care, microchips, neuter/spay surgeries, heartworm treatments, behavior evaluations, and foster care, as needed. Story
Let's just talk about this girl for a minute. She was living in someone's yard and can you imagine no one from that house was feeding her 😡 Never abused but mostly definitely shown no love whatsoever . Which is why she's " shy" hence the name SHY! But she's shy in all the best ways. Not fearful shy or aggressive in any way! She's submissive . She lives with other dogs in fact, she goes to doggy daycare! Everyone there loves her . She's so grateful for love and affection she will never stop showing you her gratitude with lots of long naps snuggling and wet sloppy kisses. Shy is kennel trained and house trained . Very gentle and respectful of kids. Currently, she's in a foster home in Memphis, Tennessee, Tennessee. Once an application has been submitted and approved, her foster family would love to speak with you about her. Once adopted, she will travel on one of two transports to the Midwest or the north east. Transport leaves Memphis Tennessee every Friday morning and travels as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. If you would like to make this sweet and brilliant girl, a part of your family, please follow the link below to our adoption application. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9

Story
This pretty little English Bulldog girl is called Natasha and she is guessed to be 8 years or a little more, and weighs 42 lb. She was found at a construction site wandering as a stray in a small town in Middle Tennessee.  The people that found her couldn't believe that such a sweet girl could possibly be lost.  After posts were made on Facebook and social media, no one ever came forward to claim her. The shelter was full at her small town and the people that found her just could not take her there even if it could accept her. She's too special. This little girl is recovering from a former flea infestation and has some patches on her back that are missing hair but growing hair back now.  She's got the normal senior hip arthritis and needs some pain meds from time to time and some good joint medicine will help a great deal. Her teeth are good, her eyesight is fine and her sweet personality is over the top of the chart. She's affectionate with everyone and oh so sweet. We have found her to be good with other dogs and housebroken. We have not tried her with cats,  but she seems to have the personality that would be loving and welcoming to all creatures that she meets. She walks a little slower as can be expected at her age, but she exudes a gratitude for having been given a place to stay.  As they always say, a rescue dog will always let you know that they appreciate what you have done for them.  With Natasha you can see it in her eyes and her spirit. She is a joy that someone needs to have in their life.   If you understand the Bulldog breed, then you will be happy to know that this is a rare girl to be offered. She's healthy and all other ways except a little arthritis and missing a little bit of hair. Natasha is special and we are looking for that very special person or family to adopt her. Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested. Please mention where you live since we adopt not only to Tennessee residents but also to Northeastern states and we transport there PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Lola-Old English Bulldog female, Fawn and White, DOB 3-10-23 (Sept. 2024) For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Lola came to Rescue when her 'breeder' could not use her in the breeding program. This sweet friendly little girl has been described as calm and quiet. She loves to play and retrieve and has lived with cats and small dogs, without any issues. Some information about her breeding... Kind but courageous, friendly but dignified, the Bulldog is a thick-set, low-slung, well-muscled bruiser whose 'sourmug' face is the universal symbol of courage and tenacity. These docile, loyal companions adapt well to town or country. You can't mistake a Bulldog for any other breed. Lola has had an ACL treatment and is said to be fine, although still on a limited activity schedule. No stairs, limited activity and no playing with big dogs. Some crate time for rest will be continued for a while too, both day and night rest periods. Lola's adoption fee is $400 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication.

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13894Hi I’m Barnabas (The Vintage Litter)!I've got the whole package—brains, heart stopping good looks and don’t forget my 'sourmug' face with loads of raw talent—and I'm ready to use them. Teach me, praise me and I guarantee I'll make you proud at home, on walks, and meeting new friends. When I’m not admiring your every move, I’d love to be playing with other dogs. So, what do you say?Who doesn’t like to cuddle up with a friendly but dignified pup like me and watch TV? Wanna be besties? Then click that Adopt Me button and fill out my application!- I need someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hours, at least not until I am older. The older I am, the more I can stay home alone. I just don't want you to get mad at me if I have accidents or chew things I'm not supposed to when you leave me for too long. I'm a puppy, so I get bored quickly and when I'm bored I could get in trouble.- I am looking for my forever home, not my for right now home. So as I get bigger I need someone to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. I am young and still learning. You may want to teach me some new tricks like sit, stay, etc. Professional training will help me bond with you. That sounds like fun!- I saved the most important for last. I am hoping my new mom or dad will snuggle with me, play with me and love me forever and ever! Please note that because this puppy is so young, it has only received 2 of the required 3 puppy distemper vaccines. This is very IMPORTANT because it means that the immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age. Until then, the puppy MUST stay out of public places where it could be exposed to the germs of other dogs. These no puppy zones include all pet stores, dog parks, and for apartment dwellers, areas used by other dogs. These requirements are strictly for the puppy’s medical safety and longevity. This puppy is microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccines and monthly preventatives. This pet is expected to arrive at an Operation Paws for Homes Foster Home soon. If you are interested in adoption, please submit your application so that you may be pre-approved prior to arrival. All pets must be granted a Health Certificate in order to cross state lines and come to the rescue. Obtaining the health certificate is largely dependent on veterinary resources at the originating animal shelter so some pets may not arrive as planned.
