Ever met a living, snorting, walking cartoon? That’s West Lee. He’s a professional back-talker, four legged tornado of joy, chaos, and pure Wreck-It Ralph energy. Absolutely no concept of personal space or consequences, built like a tonka truck, and he’s all about that mouthy, goofy, relentless affection. Basically, West Lee is a 60 lb toddler full of personality stuffed into a wrinkle suit. If you’re a bulldog lover, then you definitely know the type. West Lee is a classic bulldog through and through- built like a solid brick, handsome as all-get-out, a little stubborn because he can be, and considers himself to be a “foodie.” He can smell food from a mile away too. How he does that with all those wrinkles, we have no idea but he does. He’s a mild-mannered sweetheart until a crinkle bag announces the hunger games. West Lee would probably even sell me for a chicken nugget and not feel bad about it if he could. So safe to say that once food is involved, all loyalty is up for negotiation. West Lee is a bowling ball powered by Wreck-it-Ralph energy and has a sour patch kid personality. First he’s chaos, then he cuddles. Fair warning though, most cuddles with West Lee do end up with you covered in slobber, hair, and him very heavily breathing on you with his hot breath LOL. You gotta be someone that likes that type of affection. He stomps, snorts, and accidentally (debatable) redecorates your living room, so best of luck to your pillows. Meet Iris Moon! 🌙💗 Hold onto your hearts, because Iris Moon is about to bulldoze her way right into them — literally and figuratively! This little nugget of joy is short, stocky, and made entirely out of sunshine, slobbery kisses, and wiggles. Charlie - aka Charlie Wigglebutt, Sir Nubs-a-Lot, Professional Shotgun Rider Charlie is currently living in a foster home with a whole crew of dogs and slid right in like he’d always been there. He is thriving with a wide variety of dogs and his foster praises him for being an easy, stress-free addition to the household from day one. House trained, crate trained, and already living the good life, Charlie has definitely proved himself to be a wonderfully adaptable, happy-go-lucky buddy. A quick run down of his stats- Charlie is estimated to be 4 years old, he weighs 38.2 lbs, and is likely a English Bulldog/Frenchie mix but of course, given he is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or birthday. He absolutely loves his people and opens up quickly with new people whether that is a quick passing greeting or with house guests. He leans in for affection, takes treats gently, and soaks up love with a calm, sweet demeanor. He may pop up for a hello when greeting someone new, but it’s all friendly enthusiasm, think of it like meeting your half way, never wild or mouthy. On leash, Charlie is an easy walking buddy. He walks nicely, checks in with his handler, and is perfectly happy with a short stroll over a long-haul hike. He’s the kind of dog who seems genuinely happy just being alongside you, matching your pace and enjoying the outing. With other dogs, Charlie is polite and peaceful. He lives with small dogs now and does great with them. He isn’t a big player or rough-and-tumble type, more of a gentle roamer who prefers to do his own thing and then checks back in with his people. He would do best with a low-energy dog or as a solo pup who gets all the love. Charlie is also cat tolerant. He calmly smelled our house cat and then moved on, coexisting beautifully. We’d recommend a calm, dog-savvy cat for him, but he’s shown he can handle feline roommates just fine. Because of his compact size and easygoing nature, Charlie would be a great fit for an apartment or a home. His smooshy face means he doesn’t need a ton of exercise, making him an excellent couch potato companion who’s happy with short walks, cozy naps, and being wherever his people are. Bowser is an adorable, happy lowrider. He is great with kids, ok with cats and good with some other dogs (slow introductions always recommend). Bowser is young and would benefit from a strong leader who can guide him to be their best buddy. He is a true Bully... stubborn, with a rough play style. But also very loving and loyal. All fees listed include transport fees.** In an unfair turn of events, Trudy found herself in need of rescue when she was surrendered by a breeder. She is good with other dogs, however she is possessive of food and toys around other dogs. So, we feel she would do best in a home by herself. Trudy does fine on walk with other dogs and hanging out with them as long as there is no toys or food involved. She loves hanging out with people and she is good with kids. Trudy truly loves to explore and is always up for an adventure, so if you're looking for an energetic and fun-loving dog, then she is the one for you. Trudy deserves a new leash on life and can't wait to start the next leg of her journey with you! The vet said she is around 3 years old, but we think she might be older. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses. All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
