Sandor is a fun and loving dog. He’s been with me for 8 years and has been great with our son (3), not sure how he would do with other kids though. However he is not good with other dogs. My wife and I just welcomed our daughter, who Sandor has been good with, and we both work. With two children and work we don’t have the time to dedicate to Sandor that he needs. He loves walks and hiking but also loves snuggling up on the couch. He’d do well with some land.

My name is Blu! I am a Handsome , 9 year old bulldog mix . I am fully vetted and potty trained. I am not only smart but active & I love to go for walks, explore! I have alot of energy for my age so you will get your steps in for sure! I LOVE LOVE to just snuggle & am always ready to watch movies or share dinner ! I will chase a ball & will entertain you with my witty personality! I walk well on a leash, knows "sit" "stay" "wait" "back" and "down" "leave it". I wait to go out of the house and come back in. He loves to watch the world go by out the window. He needs a 6' fence so he can zoom. I love humans & I dont mind older children (over 15 )who are respectful. I definetely need a home committed to giving me exercise! I loves hiking, walking, & I sleep very well when worn out at the end of the day! PS I don love to nap in the sun too! I sometimes have anxiety if I do not get the daily exercise so please know I will settle in with an active lifestyle.. I even have my very own trainer to help me acclimate to my new home!!!

We have entered a partnership with Franklin County Dog Shelter to help reduce their euthanization rates. Corinne is one of those dogs in need who will be running out of time soon. Please understand we do our best to keep these posts updated. If you have any questions, please reach out. Out-Of-State adoption available - Coming Back Home Rescue provides transportation for approved adopters. Her final day of life has NOT been scheduled YET but he has been placed on their Urgent List. A date will be scheduled within a week at the earliest or by the end of the month at the latest. Time is still of the essence. Corinne 2 Years Old 42 Pounds Here is what FCDS had to say about Corinne; Bio – Corinne is available for rescue due to poor kennel behavior. She has been having issues in her kennel since arriving at the shelter. Staff tried to get her out on 11/27 and said Corinne was hiding in the back of her kennel, growling, tense body, and refused to come forward. They were able to get her out on 12/02. Corinne sought attention pretty quickly outside, went potty, and in the office put her paws in their lap and nudged them for pets. When another staff member entered the office Corinne sought attention from them as well. She is still intermittently reactive in her kennel but seems to do much better out. She had some office time on 12/09. Corinne was playful with toys and the person, did show mild guarding of the toys, still loves treats, and knows sit. She has not had a medical exam yet. Medical staff attempted one on 12/10 but she became uncomfortable quickly so they just did a “happy visit”. She was tested with a male Pit mix on 12/02. She was slightly tense but then shook off, gave nub wags, and played a little chase. When the other dog became a little more rowdy Corinne ran away from him. CBHR Feedback; - Corinne is suffering from Kennel Syndrome which is the mental decline of a dog in a particular environment. Based on reports, she will only get worse making her one of our higher priorities. Very sweet and easy going outside of her kennel as reported. Dogs who leave the shelter tend to make a 180 in their behaviors for the better. -Corinne has NOT had a full medical exam due to her being fearful. Visually; we can see she has some scarring, and her nub either is wounded or there is a mass. We will assist with medical if it has not been taken care of prior to pulling. Got Bully breed experience and looking to adopt? Petey just may be the dog for you! He's got all of the silly quirks bulldogs have, and then some. LOL He is house trained, and pretty much chill inside his foster home. He is 100% potty trained, and loves to poop on inappropriate things while on walks. Yes, I need to get videos. I prefer taking Petey for walks at locations where we won't run into other dogs on walks, because he turns into a wild boy with excitement. Positive reinforcement training would be super beneficial with this! I also have learned as Petey's foster mom, that there's much more to learn about this meatball. For this reason, I suggest someone loving and patient who will work with Petey in getting to know his silly quirks. We are looking for a home with no young children, and Petey would need to have a meet and greet if there's other dogs in your home. A fenced in yard is prefered.
