"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Joleeeene..." Oh wait, that's me! Hi there! I'm Jolene, the sweetest, sassiest, and most lovable 4-year-old English Bulldog you'll ever meet. My story hasn't always been easy, but I'm tougher than I look, and now I'm ready to find my forever home!
I've faced some rough patches (anal fistulas, but we don't need to dwell on those!), and now I'm healthier than ever. Just like the song says, I'm irresistible, and trust me-you won't be able to turn me away once we meet!
I'm all about that outside life. Whether it's soaking up the sun or chasing after a good ol' bone, being outside is my jam! But, like any superstar, I need a little backup to make sure I stay safe. A leash or a fenced yard is a must so I can explore without any drama.
Car rides? Oh, I'm down! Crate or no crate, I'll roll with it like a pro. I'm happiest around adults or teenagers who get my vibe-give me my space when I need it, and we're golden. I do great with my two foster siblings, but hey, I'm a bit of a diva sometimes. I like to take my time getting to know my future doggo friends. A calm, laid-back pup is more my speed.
You can count on me to be crate-trained and potty-trained-no late-night drama here! I sleep soundly in my crate like a dream. And guess what? I'm fully up to date on all my vaccines, spayed, and I've had that special bulldog TLC we all need.

Medication:
**JOLENE is in remission**
Prednisone: Give 1 by mouth every 12 hours until remission then once every other day
Ciprofloxacin: Give 1 by mouth every 72 hours
Lactulose: Give 3ml by mouth once per day (or twice as needed)
Gabapentin: Give 2 capsules by mouth every 12 hours as needed for pain
Cyclosporine: Give 1 by mouth every 24 hours until remission then give once every other day
