Despite the pics that might make her look petite, she's actually around 50 pounds. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night. She's really a perfect girl. Shawny is about 7 years young and looking for a furever place to call her own. She would do well with a doggy friend with a slow introduction but would be happy to be the star of the show. She would much prefer being part of a girls' club because boys drool! She's a funny girl-she makes people chuckle by rolling around, snorting and being goofy. Despite constantly being overlooked, Shawny just keeps smiling and hoping. Her bright personality and fun-loving spirit will light up the home of whoever is fortunate enough to adopt her. She was the best, most tolerant little mama dog you could imagine. Once her babies were weaned, Petunia was treated for heartworms and has completed her month of rest. Now that all of those things are behind her, she is ready to find her forever home. I think she’d be great in most any home. She’s not much for playing with toys but she loves a good bone to chew on. She is a couch potato extraordinaire! She will nap all day if you let her. She also loves to get out and go for a ride to the beach or anywhere you’d like to take her. She’s super friendly with everyone she meets. Theodore is a super high risk anesthesia candidate therefore he is unaltered. Also despite many types of feeding methods he regurgitates his food several times before holding it down.
