Baxter, born on August 17, 2021, is a lovable Bulldog-Staffy mix with a heart of gold. His affectionate nature knows no bounds as he showers love on everyone he meets! Baxter's friendly demeanor extends to his interactions with other dogs both big and small, making him a great companion for canine playdates. With impeccable manners, Baxter is both potty-trained and crate-trained, showcasing his reliability and responsibility. On walks, he effortlessly walks by your side, never pulling on the leash, making every stroll a joyous experience. Baxter's endearing personality and well-mannered disposition will make him an invaluable member of any family!   The suggested adoption fee for Baxter is $315. Dottie is an Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog and American Bully mix, born in November 2020. She’s a laid-back girl who adores lounging in her favorite spot on the couch. Dottie loves going on walks and usually does well on a leash, though she can pull a bit when excited. She’s fantastic in the car, making her an excellent travel companion. One of her favorite activities is playing with a ball, but while she enjoys chasing it, she’s not always the best at bringing it back!  Despite her playful side, Dottie is surprisingly quiet and doesn’t bark much. She’s also crate-trained, happily eating and resting in her kennel when needed. At night, she’s a great sleeper who’s perfectly comfortable in bed with her person. Fully potty trained, Dottie is low maintenance in that department. Dottie would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She isn’t suited for homes with cats. Dottie would be a wonderful, loyal companion for someone seeking a loving, energetic dog with a relaxed and quiet demeanor at home. Dottie's background:  She was in the Dodge City shelter when she gave birth to our "Dodge City Litter." The shelter allowed us to take in her pups when they were of age but promised her original owner, that they could adopt her back. Shortly after Dottie's puppies came to Omaha, Dottie returned to the shelter when her owners left her tied to a tree and she chewed herself free. Norah is the sweetest pup! Her demeanor and personality are that of a playful, happy go lucky dog. She loves car rides, playing with her people and all the attention. She has a cute way of pawing at you when she wants your eyes on her or just simply pets. She is super easy as far as listening and obeying goes. She responds to kennel up, stop, no, sit, shake and lay down (especially for treats! and she loves Dentasticks!). She sleep and snores through the day and requires a couple stints of play time through the day, twice for 20 minutes or so, especially in the evening. She is ready for bed by 9pm and will snore the night away! She is a great addition to any household as she loves everyone, as long as they give her plenty of attention! She is a loving, snuggly, all around perfect pet! ##2161123##

Coco is a shy girl who is looking to gain confidence in the world around her after a "ruff" start in life.  She was adopted from a shelter elsewhere as a reported mill/breeder release.  She's the most gentle peanut who loves nothing more than to sit on the oversized bean bag or couch and receive little pets.  Coco requires patience from her adoptive family as she learns to acclimate to a new situation--this may include needing to bed fed in her safe spot initially or walked on leash to the yard to take care of business.  She'll need older kids or school-aged kiddos who fall on the less excitable side of the scale. Coco tolerates her cares well and seems to enjoy her brief walks in the neighborhood.  She's just a bit fluffy so is on a late summer diet plan with encouragment from her amazing foster family.  We don't yet know much about how she feels about other dogs (indifferent at the vet) and doesn't seem interested in the resident cats in her foster home. ##2161127##
