If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi! My name is Scoops. I’m a 3 year old bulldog who was found as a stray and brought to Animal Control. I didn’t love being in the shelter, so luckily I was able to join The Rescue Crew and live in a house! I am very goofy and LOVE all the toys. Bones/stuffed animals/ropes…you name it, I love it! I will play tug with you, or play fetch, though I don’t always drop it – it’s fun to fetch but only sometimes – sometimes it’s more fun to play tug, or I will throw the toy for myself to play with. I love chewing on nummy bones too! I don’t love my crate but after a little protesting I will settle down and take a snooze in it. I know to do my potty business outside, but I need you to bring me out on a schedule because I’m not the best at alerting when I need to go! But if you bring me out every few hours I’m totally good and won’t have any accidents (I sleep all night no problem with no need to go out). I live with cats and dogs right now. The cats I really want to chase/play with so I should go to a home with dog-savvy cats or no cats at all though I am pretty easily re-directed with a toy or treat. I also live with some dogs here – I get along fabulously with the dogs my size and we love playing all sorts of games but I’m pretty nervous around the dog bigger than me so I would do best with dogs that are submissive and/or are my own size with a slow introduction! If you don’t have any other animals, that’s okay too – I’d love to be your one and only and get all the toys and attention. After I play with all the toys I love getting petted, I will roll over so you can rub my belly – belly rubs are the best! I really want a home with people around a lot to play with me and give me all the love! I’m a little stubborn at times (it’s my genetics don’t blame me), but I make up for it with my hilarious antics and adorable face. Foster mom tells me all the time how cute I am and how sweet I am and she can’t wait for me to find my own family to continue to learn all about this good life with, is that family you?! Yours truly, Scoops Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2251515##

Story
This gal and brothers were found on the side of the road. This is a wonderful group! They do not bark unless playing and just like to have a fun time! They are very friendly and get along with everyone. Yuki has a little spark in her from having to deal with her brothers all of the time. She is very sweet but can hold her own when needed. They will need all the basic puppy training with everything that comes with it. She is a wonderful pup who would make a great addition to any family. She is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Name: Poggle Breeds: American Bully Age: Young Adult Sex: Male Size: ~60 lbs POGGLE IS IN BOARDING AND NEEDS A FOSTER! Big head, stocky legs, minimal thoughts, lots of love—that’s our Poggle! He is a sweet, handsome guy with so much love to give to whoever adopts him. He fancies himself a lap dog and we don’t have the heart to tell him he isn’t. He is fabulous with all people, good with other dogs, and ignores the cats. Poggle is housetrained and crates well though much prefers to be left loose in the house and he has so far been good with that at his foster home. Poggle loves his walks and tossing around toys but is equally content to take a nice snooze. His leash manners leave a lot to be desired but hey, no one is perfect. He is learning that pulling ahead like a freight train gets him nowhere and if he doesn’t he gets some love and a little treat which are 2 things he loves more than anything! While he leads with his heart, there’s a brain in that head and a strong desire to please (and get treats). Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $600 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, deworming, and microchip Interested in adopting? Fill out a preadopt application here: https://form.jotform.com/203104540557144 You can email laurahhk9@gmail.com with additional questions. This dog is located in Minneapolis, MN

Story
Name: Sea Cow Breeds: Manatee Age: Young Adult Sex: Male Size: Extra large Did you ever think you’d see a manatee up for adoption? Neither did we but yet here Sea Cow is. He barks like a dog but looks like a manatee so what species he actually is you can decide for yourself. Good news though, he’s not aquatic so ready to move into your home and remain on land! Sea Cow is a big, round, stocky Bully breed with a giant heart, giant head, and a giant personality. He is a goofy bulldozer of a dog without a lick of understanding that he’s a big boy and will plant his jumbo booty right in your lap as if he’s tiny. We just don’t have the heart to tell him he isn’t. Sea Cow loves other dogs and thinks they all want to be immediate playmates with him. He has never met anyone, dog or human, that isn’t immediately his best friend. Cats are confusing to him. The shelter cat swatted him hard when he stuck his face all up in her business and he just stood there completely baffled about the stabby hand animal. He doesn’t appear to have much prey drive but he also isn’t particularly aware that cats might not want him all up in their business with no spatial awareness. Sea Cow is housetrained once he knows the routine, crates well, and does well in the house. He loves to chomp on nylabones while chilling by his people, struts his stuff on walks, and does his best pot belly pig impression flopped on his side napping in the sun. If you ever wanted to own a manatee but the habitat requirements were always preventing it, Sea Cow is the solution to all your problems (well, maybe just that one). Requirements: No special requirements Adoption Fee: $600 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, deworming, and microchip Interested in adopting? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Hi, I’m Bell, a 7-year-old, 50-pound English Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality! I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active! I’m potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best with smaller dogs and would thrive as a solo dog or with a calm companion. I’ve got a bit of a bossy side and can guard my water, so having someone with experience around bulldogs would be ideal! At home, I’m super affectionate with the adults I trust, and I love snuggling on the couch—yep, I’m a big lap dog! I’m happy going on leash walks for potty breaks and exercise, so I don’t need a fenced yard. While I may be a bit picky about meeting new people in busy settings, once I warm up, I’m a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a special Bulldog who just wants to be your best friend and play fetch, I’m your girl! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.    * **Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Rosy is a sweet energetic girl who is looking for an energetic family to keep up with. She will run like a banshee and play play play and then just pass out on you, the floor, the couch, the bed. Work hard, play hard is her motto. She is excellent with my six year old in her foster home. She loves him dearly and sleeps in a teenagers room at night. She thrives on human interaction and will quiet down in a kennel after being in there a bit. She loves to eat and is very treat motivated. Click here to see video! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Aimee! This gentle girl may be a little cautious at first, but with a little patience (and a treat or two), she’ll be warming up to you before you know it. Since leaving the shelter, Aimee has become so much more relaxed, and her loving, loyal nature truly shines. Within an hour of meeting someone new, she’ll be right by your side, nudging for attention and happy to cozy up next to you. Aimee is kennel trained, gets along well with other dogs, and would be a great fit for a multi-pet household. She’s also wonderful with kids, especially those over 10, as her excitement sometimes leads to playful jumping. She adores soft stuffed animals to chew on and may let out a little howl when she’s extra happy. Aimee enjoys a few walks each day, and she’s always excited to go outside and explore. Check out this cute video of her sitting for a treat. With just a little time and love, she’ll bring joy, companionship, and that special kind of loyalty only a dog like Aimee can offer.
