She eventually wandered up to an empty house to have her three babies and thankfully someone finally took pity and reach out to get her help. Now Virginia and two of her puppies - Violet & Vince - are still waiting for families of their own and they are all on the URGENT list as their shelter is over full and they are running out of time. This girl is going to make someone a fabulous companion! She walks very well on a leash and is learning not to pull. She is potty-trained and is active but not hyper, does not jump, nor does she guard her food or toys. Virginia LOVES to go for car rides, especially if there's a burger and a pup-cup involved. And when she is on outings, she is the perfect lady when walking around the store - she was polite, greeted everyone, picked out a chew toy and treats. She takes a treat ever-so-gently and is just an overall "Good Girl!" Her absolute favorite thing is playing with her tennis ball or squeaky ball!! No stuffy toys for this girl. She loves to be with her person but if you are busy, she is content to play by herself too. Virginia does well with kids and loves every human she meets but she does not love other dogs, and we recommend she be an only-pet home. They are very friendly and get along with everyone. Yuki has a little spark in her from having to deal with her brothers all of the time. She is very sweet but can hold her own when needed. This boy was found on the side of the road with his siblings. He is the biggest of the bunch and just as sweet! This is a pretty quiet group that only speak when arguing with another. They get along with other puppies and have no problems greeting people. He should do great with kids and will need to learn cats if necessary. Puppy training will be needed and all that goes along with it. Yeti is just a sweet butterball of a boy!! He likes to play and just have a good day. He is an absolute joy to be around. I’m a sweet girl who loves nothing more than lounging at home and playing fetch or keep-away with my favorite balls. I may be a bit older, but I’m still full of energy and love to stay active! I’m potty trained and do well with crate time, though sometimes I’ll bark if I don’t get my way. I also need daily eye drops, but I’m good about taking them. I prefer a quieter, adult-only home since busy places and small kids make me nervous. I do best with smaller dogs and would thrive as a solo dog or with a calm companion. I’ve got a bit of a bossy side and can guard my water, so having someone with experience around dogs would be ideal! At home, I’m super affectionate with the adults I trust, and I love snuggling on the couch—yep, I’m a big lap dog! I’m happy going on leash walks for potty breaks and exercise, so I don’t need a fenced yard. While I may be a bit picky about meeting new people in busy settings, once I warm up, I’m a loyal, loving companion. Hi! My name is Yolo and I am from Iowa. Hi my rescue name is Yolo, but my foster family calls me Dave. I have no idea why, they said I just feel like a Dave. I am a typical bulldog. I am very silly sometimes and pretty lazy most of the time. I like everyone I meet and am not sure what personal space is. I am good with other female dogs, but I have not met a male dog in my foster home. My foster mom says she think I would be fine with males too. I even met a cat and while I was not smart of taking cues from him, I did like him even when he swatted! I am a good boy in my kennel and don't mind being left alone. I am working on potty training and getting better everyday. I love to be outside but will roam if I am not on a leash or in a fenced in yard. I am a bulldog, so please be aware of typical health concerns that can pop up with me!
