Story

Lucy is a 5 or so yo English bulldog mix that was adopted from the humane society, where she came in as a stray. She is highly reactive to dogs, cats, squirrels, etc. She craves a lot of attention and currently takes anxiety meds. She is sometimes agitated with my kids, 15 and 11, and previously bit my 11 year old. We also have a busy schedule and are not spending enough time at home with her. I feel she would do best in a home with only adults and someone who is home most days to be with her. She is crate trained, potty trained, up to date on all vaccines and hw and pest prevention. She can stay home alone for several hour stretches but I feel that should be the exception. She does not travel well due to being anxious and dog reactive. She needs a companion who can work with her issues and provide some training and behavioral training. She also has borderline dry eye, currently not on meds and had a lower lid lift a few months ago to correct entropion.

Story

Bear is a gentle boy, almost 3 years old. He is a Beabull, 75% English Bulldog and 25% Beagle. House trained, still sleeps in a crate at night. Up to date on all vaccines. Loves to play fetch and loves apples. He’s a bit shy with new people, but once he gets acquainted he’s fine and loves to be with his person. Good with elementary aged kids. He would like a loving, forever home. Paid $2500 for him as a puppy. Fee includes his crate, bed, leashes, toys, etc. If you’re interested in this great dog, arrange a visit with him and we can go from there.

Story

This boy was dumped off at an auction place by his owners. Apparently their new landlord wouldn’t let him stay and that was their solution. He waited for them but was caught by a volunteer's house and brought in. He is a sweet, sweet boy who was definitely cared for. We’re positive he is housetrained and does well on a leash. He does well around other dogs his size, have not put him with smaller dogs. We aren’t sure about cats but know he can learn those manners. He loves to be around people, does well with kids and would love to go on any adventure with his new family. He would do best in a yard to get some energy out but it doesn't have to be too big…. just something he can walk around in but extra walks or dog park would do best for him. He is just a big lover who was let down by one family and is hoping for a second chance with a new one. Hank is being fostered in TN at this time but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. This girl was found at an auto shop, hence her name. She is very friendly and playful. She is around other dogs her age and does well. She likes to be in charge so she would do best in a home with calmer, submissive dogs. She will need puppy training as we aren’t sure if she has had any. She likes toys and loves to show them off to people! She is good around kids but is excitable so will need to learn how to be around little ones. She is learning how to be on a leash and does okay in a kennel. She’s just an active girl who needs an active family to keep her busy. She is just looking for fun times and a family to share them with her. She is being fostered in TN but we do transport using the most animal-friendly transport on the road. This gal and 3 others were surrendered due to her owner not taking care of them properly. Rainey is the sweetest lady, although the shyest when meeting new people. Once she knows you, she is just wonderful. She loves to play and just have a fun time. She does learn, when she wants to pay attention. She would do great in a home with some yard, doesn’t have to be huge, just something she can get out to. She likes other dogs but hasn’t been around any smaller dogs. She would need to learn manners with cats as we don't’ think the household had any. She would do well on long walks, or a dog park for her to get her legs stretched out. She does well with kids so any family would suit her. She is just a wonderful girl who is looking for a new family to have fun with. Story

Vanilla, her mother Virginia and her two siblings, Vince, and Victor are in a shelter that is overfull and will need to make space shortly. ALL OF THEM ARE ON THE URGENT LIST! The poor momma was a stray that no one would help. She finally wandered up to an empty house to have her babies and thankfully someone called trying to find help for her. This little girl is the shy one in her litter, but she is a real charmer. She adores people and will even miss out on playtime for lover dog time. She will whine and bark for your attention and when you sit down with her, she will crawl in your lap - tail going a mile a minute and little butt jiggling. Puppy kisses alert! She is smart and is a quick learner. Coming along great on leash walking and potty training. She plays well with other dogs but runs away if they get too rough. She also seems good with kids but will need to be taught manners like all other puppies. Vanilla is currently in TN but the transport to your area is included in your fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.
