Story
Hi there! My name is Krewella, and I am a young girl with lots of love to give. I am about 2 years old and weigh 46 pounds, with the most adorable speckles! I am very affectionate and love to be close to my favorite humans. I am very playful, wiggly and goofy, I would love lots of toys in my new home please! I've been told my tail never quits wagging and that it is super cute. I just love the snow too, so hopefully my forever family does as well, we could play and maybe build snowmen in the back yard, that sure sounds fun. Just so you know though, I am almost completely deaf. I am working on learning some hand signals, and picking them up quickly, everyone is quite impressed. I am getting good at reading your body language too and following your lead. I sometimes am a little shy and need time to warm up to new people, but I am very affectionate once I get to know you. I would really benefit from a confident and experienced leader who can set boundaries and provide me with the structure I need. With the right family, I know I will blossom and be the best girl. I can be a little mouthy, but I am working on that with all my friends at the rescue. A home where any children are at least 13 years old is just what I need. I am not quite sure how I feel about other dogs as I am very stressed in this kennel environment with so much going on and not being able to hear. If there is another nice dog in your home, we could try a meet and greet. I just really want a home and someone to love me. Libby’s coat is just gorgeous! She is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 42 pounds. Here are a few nice facts about her: May be the sweetest soul on earth Someone has not been very nice to her, poor muffin She is very hand shy and pancakes to the ground when unsure or scared Hesitant of new things Docile So very affectionate when she trusts you, just takes a little time to open up Only wants to be close Seems to crave affection Likes soft toys Will retrieve tennis balls and toys and relinquishes them with a soft mouth Knows drop it Really needs a leader to rely on for comfort and guidance Adopter should have the time and patience to build trust and work on confidence building Needs a home where any children are at least 8 years old with her shy, insecure nature Only wants a family to love and treat her like she deserves, she is an angel with so much love to give If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Libby would love to meet them. She has a soft, loose and wiggly approach with other dogs and is a little submissive. Another nice dog in the home may help with building her confidence. Meet Desire, also known as Dee Dee! Dee Dee came to us when she was found as a stray in Detroit and ended up at an overcrowded shelter. Her HEROS (foster mom & dad) swooped her up to safety and the rest is history! We estimate Dee Dee to be 3 years old and she currently weighs 37 lbs. She could use a couple extra meals 😉 Dee Dee is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She currently lives with multiple cats and dogs and LOVES them all! Dre Dee is doing great with her potty training and when she can’t hold it has started using pee pads. She is a SUPER smart girl who has already master SIT, and is eager to learn more!
