Rufio is alone about 6 hours each day and is kept in his crate. At night, he sleeps in his bed in the bedroom. He needs to be restrained in the car or else he will climb all around. He currently eats Royal Canin Ultamino. Rufio's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "He is very sweet but he was not well trained or socialized. He is too large and strong for me to keep under control and he has been injuring me when he plays or gets too excited. He needs an owner who is better able to handle him and a larger house." Rufio's guardian offers a brief a medical history: "He has significant allergies that he is currently seeing a dermatologist for. He is on an elimination diet and medication." Rufio's guardian states the following regarding children: Rufio hasn't lived with children, but his guardian recommends his living with children ages 12 and older, stating "Rufio is very large and strong and jumps on people. This is Dani: This spunky girl has so much character! If you look at her videos when she’s trying to play she does this thing where she shakes her head. She sometimes looks like she’s telling me what’s up cause how she does her head nods. She jumps up with excitement like a very tiny bull. She runs around with confidence and loves to explore. The dogs barking at her don’t seem to bother her.
