Story
Bruno has been with us his whole 5 and a half years of life! He has grown up with my son. We’ve decided to rehome him purely because we haven’t been able to love on him the way he deserves. He’s so incredibly sweet. He’s would enjoy a chill cuddly cozy lifestyle. He can’t really go for long walks especially in the summer. English bulldogs aren’t build like that they get short of breath quickly. He spends most of his days lounging around. He prefers his own space and gets defensive around other dogs because of his limited interaction. He’d love being an only dog!

Story
Hi! I have owned Jager (pronounced like Jagermeister), since early 2018. I got him from a family friend, because he wasn't receiving the type of care that I felt he deserved. He has been an excellent companion for the last few years; however, our family has grown tremendously with adding two small children, back to back. In doing so, he is not receiving the attention he so desperately needs and desires. He would be perfect for a single or retired person, who wants to snuggle and love on him all day! He is very communicative, does not like when people wear hats (previous abuse in puppy mill), and is EXCELLENT with kids. We had a more dominant American bulldog, and Jager's temperament was perfect with the other dog. I refer to him as a "marshmallow", because he can be extremely aloof and unaware at times! He does get the occasional ear infection & folds will need to be cleaned daily. Experienced bulldog owner would be best but a loving home is more important.

Story
Meet Flapjack! A 6 yr old, 45 lb English bulldog. She's a "low maintenence" kind of girl. A fenced in yard is a must for her, as she's not big on taking walks, but she definitely enjoys sunbathing in the grass. You might say she's a little bit of a homebody. Another must is having a couch 😁 Yes! She's a couch potato where she enjoys watching TV with her person. Flapjack likes a good bone to chew on, a soft toy to squeak or a game of tug o war. She wants all the human attention for herself, so she's not willing to share it with another dog. She'll roll her potato like body over for as many belly rubs as you're willing to give her! Please no kitties either, as she thinks they are way to much fun to chase. Flapjack is potty trained and crate trained. She does fine not crated as well. Her table manners are excellent as she does not beg for food or care if you're cooking in the kitchen. Flapjack is waiting to meet her forever family! Please fill out an application if she sounds like a good match for you! Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.

Story
Hi there! I am Koby Teeth, and I am the little bulldog who could. I came from a shelter weighing only 20 pounds, but I am happy to report that I feel much better at 40 pounds and still have a bit to go. When I tell you I love to eat, I mean I love, love, love to eat. I try to eat food with salmon because it makes me sleek and shiny and helps with my “itchy-ness.”   I am about four years old, but sometimes I act like I’m much younger. I love to bounce in the grass because it just feels so good. I  love playing with my doggie friend here who is twice my size, but I can get a little rough with my play. So, my foster dad believes I will do best as an only dog - unless you have a rough player too. I spent a lot of time in a crate before I was rescued, so my back legs still need some work to be big and strong, but I can do it—that’s because I am Koby Teeth, the little Bulldog who could. But even so, I have learned to go up and down stairs. My foster mom and dad tell me, “steady,” but sometimes, when they aren’t looking, I want to go faster and slide down on my belly, LOL! My favorite things are food, scratches, playing, and my people. I love snuggling with them, even though my foster mom and dad tell me I snore—but hey, so do they. And when you think I can’t be any cuter, my tongue hangs out just a little when I sleep, making me irresistible.   If you are looking for the best little bulldog ever, remember I am Koby Teeth, the little bulldog who could be yours.        An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
