Once officially cleared, she can be evaluated for spay. Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: Yes Good in the car: Yes Good on a leash: Yes Energy level: low to low/medium Need a fenced in yard: No, leashed walks would be fine. Dog Friendly: Yes. I don’t think she’d be a fan of a hyper or overly dominant dog. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? No, not cat friendly Kid Friendly: Yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? Any with supervision. Sweet, sweet Petunia. I just love her to pieces! Since she came from Texas, she has birthed and raised a litter of 8 puppies. She’s clearly had multiple litters in the past with the boobies to show it. She was the best, most tolerant little mama dog you could imagine. Once her babies were weaned, Petunia was treated for heartworms and has completed her month of rest. Now that all of those things are behind her, she is ready to find her forever home. I think she’d be great in most any home. She’s not much for playing with toys but she loves a good bone to chew on. She is a couch potato extraordinaire! She will nap all day if you let her. She also loves to get out and go for a ride to the beach or anywhere you’d like to take her. She’s super friendly with everyone she meets. Thoedore has severe dental disease, significant upper airway noise with repeated gagging and phlegm production from mouth, harsh lung sounds and muffled heart sounds. Despite several types of oral antibiotics his lung pattern remains abnormal, possibly due to inflammation or chronic disease. Theodore is a super high risk anesthesia candidate therefore he is unaltered. Also despite many types of feeding methods he regurgitates his food several times before holding it down. Housebroken: yes Crate trained: yes Good in the car: yes Good on a leash: yes Energy level: low Need a fenced in yard: not necessary but he should be leashed as he is not trained in recall Dog Friendly: yes, If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No he does not Cat Friendly? Unknown Kid Friendly: yes If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 10 and up. Because he is unaltered he still has a frisky side. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Despite Theodore’s medical issues he is a character. He loves other dogs but will push their buttons if allowed. He loves to play with balls and enjoys short walks. Nighttime is spent on the couch with a nice toy. If provoked he will charge you and/or spring off the couch at you. He thinks the worst thing on the planet is a vacuum cleaner. Theodore’s Ideal family would have breed experience and have the means to take him to see an internist/surgeon $$$. Will still potty in it when his family is at work. He does great on the weekends when we are home. Good in the car: Needs to be contained in a crate, seatbelt, or the like. Otherwise, he’s intent on helping you drive the car (probably off the road!!) Good on a leash: Easy to handle but he’s all over the place. Energy level: med/high. He’s not a typical lazy bulldog. This boy can run and jump like an athlete. Need a fenced in yard: No Dog Friendly: Yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No Cat Friendly? Unknown Kid Friendly: Unknown but I can’t imagine him not being. If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 10 yrs and up. He is a sweet boy but can be jumpy and nippy when playing. Arnold is a great boy who simply needs to continue to work on his manners. He absolutely loves all the attention you can give him. However, he becomes overstimulated with the attention and pets and then wants to jump and nip at you when you stop. He’s not being malicious, it’s just what he does to tell you “don’t stop!” In terms of his favorite things, after love and affection, Arnold wants all the food and treats!! It’s a wonder he’s not a little fatty, LOL. It must be that puppy energy he still has. Also, be warned….he’s not above jumping up and stealing your snacks right out of your hands. It’s a good thing he’s so cute! He’s recently started chilling out enough to nap on the sofa with his foster mom which we consider a win. He just needs someone to give him the time to continue to work on his manners so he can be the bestest boy!! I mean, look at that face of his!! Rocco (AkA Rocky) is a 6 year old pure bread English bulldog. He is fun and loving and wants to play ball and have people around him cconstantly. He has 2 brothers (English and French bulldogs) that I am also putting up for adoption. I recently lost my wife to cancer and have grown concerned that the dogs are lonely and need a more regular schedule and attention. I am CEO of a major corporation and live with a very unpredictable schedule so I am stressing every day about my dogs and their welfare and happiness. I want him to be with a family or person(s) that care for him and keep him active. I would like any adopting parents to provide photos of where Rocco would live to include: house, yard, pets, and family.
