I am rehoming on behalf of a family member who is recently going through a divorce and can no longer keep her due to violating lease terms. Charlie is a loving, sweet, and affectionate bulldog. She is very active and healthy for her age and loves going on walks, belly rubs, and all of the cuddles. She has been keeping up with younger dogs for her whole life and is in great shape. Charlie has never been aggressive towards humans. Charlie was adopted from a purebred victorian/english bulldog breeder in Southern California, she has been in a home with other dogs her whole life and sometimes displays aggression towards other animals around foods or toys. Charlie would do best as the only dog in the home, but we would be willing to do a meet & greet with your pet to see if they get along. Charlie is friendly towards cats. She is house trained, on a consistent diet with 2 meals a day.

He gets triggered by loud noises, quick movements and will bark when he wants cuddles. Chunk is a very healthy English Bulldog and doesn't even have most of their allergies or skin concerns that typically accompany the breed. This is Ruthie! She has a very loving and affectionate personality. She is playful and Loveees getting massages and scratches. She play bites but is able to redirect to a toy. She loves her yak cheese chew and nylabone but isn't such a fan of the flirt pole or fetch. She is not much of a runner. This girl is a true bully who loves to sunbath and will find the only spot of sun in the yard to lay in. All ruthie wants to do is lean against you and wait for all the cuddles. If you stop letting her she will paw at you to let you know she wants more. She is very quiet and hasn't really made a peep. Loves car adventures and just lays down and falls asleep. She is such a sweet girl who just wants to be with her person and be loved.

English Bulldog Age: 2 yrs old Male, Neutered 33 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Otis was found as a stray and turned into the local shelter. He was pretty healthy, but had a condition called “cherry eye” in both eyes. Our vet attempted to fix both eyes - the success rate for this repair is about 50/50. One eye is healing nicely, the other may not be so lucky, time will tell. Cherry eye is mostly a cosmetic issue, and doesn’t affect their ability to see. English bulldogs in general often have LOTS of medical issues. The only other observable condition, so far, is a flea allergy. Otis had a lot of energy, a lot of humping and marking before he was neutered. Within a week following surgery, there was a big difference in his behavior. He is young and still energetic at times, but he is also very sweet and loves to cuddle. We pulled Otis at the same time we pulled another English Bulldog, a female named Courtney, from the same shelter. We thought that they may have come from the same home and were bonded. They do get along very well and probably bonded in a bulldog breed bonding sort of way. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. English Bulldog Age: 5-6 yrs old Female, Spayed 38 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Courtney was found as a stray and turned into the local shelter. She had an abscess on her paw that needed medical attention. Upon evaluation by our vet, it was observed that she also has dry eye syndrome, ectropion eyelids that turn in, but her corneas were in pretty good shape. There were also sutures still in place on her lower abdominal area. The incision was too small for a recent C-section and there were no other signs that she had been recently pregnant (although she has likely had puppies in the past). It could have been from a recent spay, but lab testing indicated that she was still intact. It is a mystery as to why the incision w/ sutures was there. Our vet spayed her and fixed her eyelids. She is on ointment and eye drops for the chronic dry eyes, but it is possible that this will correct itself over time. English bulldogs in general often have LOTS of medical issues. Courtney had some domination issues with the volunteers when she first came to us. After some consistent and stringent correction, that behavior considerably lessened, but she will need to be monitored when meeting strangers. Otherwise, she is very sweet and loves attention. We pulled Courtney at the same time we pulled another English Bulldog, a male named Otis, from the same shelter. We thought that they may have come from the same home and were bonded. They do get along very well and probably bonded in a bulldog breed bonding sort of way. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13.
