While he may not want to live with other dogs, he is not leash reactive. His favorite things in life are belly rubs, butt-scratches, sun bathing, and couch-cuddling. He is perfect for a family who wants a mellow snuggle buddy. He is quiet in the house, potty-trained and well-behaved. He knows a couple of commands and his little waddle will melt your heart. Bongo is currently being fostered in the Los Angeles area.

Marla is around 5 years old, house trained, crate trained and has mastered basic commands. Though she's super content staying home and lounging around, Marla is also always down to go on a little adventure. Whether that’s a car ride or a short walk around the neighborhood, she loves to explore. If you're looking for a dog to hang out with all day and give you lots of love, Marla’s your girl!

Sweet Deena we love you so! Deena came to us super, super scared from the shelter and would only come out of her crate for food and water for the first few days. She has made so much progress since then and is getting much more adventurous with exploring her surroundings. She’s still coming out of her shell, and she feels most comfortable when her crate is nearby, but she’s so sweet and is starting to show affection. Deena LOVES to play with her toys and is great at entertaining herself. She gets the cutest puppy zoomies and she is constantly making us laugh with her spunky personality. Especially with her tongue that always finds its way out of her mouth with the cutest expression. Deena is still working on potty training, but she’s great with using her pee pads and sleeps quietly through the night. She is still afraid of being outside and getting used to being a leash, but she’s making progress with more daily exposure. The world is Deena’s oyster, she just needs some encouragement and a safe home so that she can continue to flourish! She is truly the sweetest girl and just wants to feel safe and loved.

Story

Buttercup was brought to a city shelter as a “stray” but the person brought in a couple of dogs and they were all the same breed, had clearly been bred multiple times and all had some health issues. We and the city shelter believe that it was breeder that dumped them when they were done with them. Buttercup has some typical bulldog issues, she has dry eye in both eyes so she needs her eyes rinsed and ointment daily. She did have entropion in both eyes and an elongated esophagus but that was repaired. She can get a little itchy if you give her the wrong treats or food but nothing serious. She is extremely loving, attentive and gentle with her foster dad. She does not like to listen to her foster mom. She looks at her and then goes about doing what she wants. Different rules for different people. Haha! She is crate trained, good on leash and good with other animals. She would also be fine as an only pet. LOVES car rides. Goes insane for squeaky toys - she does not know how to share toys.
