Story
Meet Motto Motto Motto Motto is looking for his happily ever after ! He was rescued from a hoarder breeding situation where he was kept in deplorable conditions. He lived in a cage his whole life and has likely never been in a home. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body but loves to play tug of war and is a major chomper when he gets excited, he loves to latch on to items and is still learning which items are ok for chomping and which aren’t, due to this behavior issue we are placing in a home with no small children. We are confident with an experienced family who has the patience to train him, this won’t be a major issue. He’s super smart and eager to learn, he’s so sweet and still shy when meeting new people. He is estimated to be about 4 or 5 years old but it’s hard to tell because they were in such bad shape when we got them. He is on a salmon food diet and will need to continue to be on that and he likely has never been in a house, so we don’t think that he will be potty trained. He does like other dogs and he super sweet when he meets new people. He is now fixed, microchipped, had a dental and fully vaccinated. If you have any questions or are interested in adopting one of the dogs or cats for adoption, please TEXT us at 661-839-2200. We are located in southern California (Antelope Valley )

Story
#A5660504 Meet Rocky ,a 9-month-old Bulldog and Husky mix with a precious curly tail and such a vibrant energy! He’s super enthusiastic and loves to jump up to say hi—so get ready for some excited greetings! Rocky is a high-energy pup who would thrive in an active household where he can run, play, and explore. He’s curious about other dogs, always ready to play bow and make new friends through the fence at the shelter. Rocky absolutely adores toys, especially sturdy chew toys, and is content to gnaw away. Still a baby, he could use some leash training since he thinks the leash is just another fun toy!  He’s still working on his puppy basics but is eager to please and loves treats, so with a little training and consistency, he’ll be the perfect companion for an active family. Come scoop up this darling dumpling of a pup for a lifetime of love and adventures! 9 month old black and white English bulldog and Siberian husky mix 66 pound neutered male May need some standard shots and preventatives before you can take him home - this is easy to do through the shelter! Came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 11/13/24 as a return - but we have no idea why, this boy is a delight Adorable curly tail High energy puppy - loves to run and play Needs a family with an active lifestyle - perfect for jogging, hiking, or outdoors adventures! Jumps up to say hi - could use all the puppy training basics to be his best self, including leash work; thought the leash was a toy and tried playing with it Curious about other dogs, seems social - loves to play bow Always interested in a good sturdy chew toy - can keep him occupied for ages! Shows clear signs of potty training   ROCKY’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/TJc5bH1gGXU For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
MEET DARLA!! This sweet little 18 month old chunk is available for adoption through our rescue. We took her in with another dog from the same home when their owner was put into hospice care about a month ago for congestive heart failure. He’s a two time United States veteran and we told him we would do right by his dogs and he took his Pit Bull/Mastiff certified service dog into the hospital with him . This little girl is a “Shorty Bull” or what some people referred to as an “exotic bully” (please Google it) They are normally equal parts, English Bulldog/French Bulldog and American Staffordshire Terrier which is what creates this look. We are very very tight on time right now because of all the medical dogs in our program so if you’re interested in Darla and there’s no bio/description and adoption requirements listed on this post, you can inquire about her and we will send you the complete details in regards to her adoption. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. Great with all people, kids and dogs big or small.

Story
Meet Hershey! This sweet bully girl was pulled from Long Beach Shelter with a dire need of surgery on her eyelids which we provided a few weeks ago. She is now in perfect health and ready for her forever home! When we first got Hershey, she was scared of other dogs (barking, lunging). We have had a dog trainer fostering her since her surgery and now she is able to comfortably go on walks side-by-side with other dogs while showing amazing leash manners! We LOVE the progress she has made in the last couple of weeks, but we are looking for a home where she is either the only dog, or is going to owners that are very, very savvy with crate rotations, dog behavior, etc. Hershey LOVES people- especially women and is so playful!! She loves to play with toys and get silly with her fosters in their yard. It may take her a little bit to warm up to new men. She is just so sensitive due to her traumatic past. She is crate trained, potty trained, just a wonder of a dog. She loves to snuggle SO much! Because she is such a velcro dog, we recommend her being crated when alone or at night to avoid the possibility of separation anxiety which is SO difficult to undo once it has begun. If you're looking for a gorgeous, well behaved dog to be your one and only, please apply for Hershey today!

These pups are in Lancaster, California too!

Story
Purebred Miniature Dark Chocolate Brindle French Bulldog female. The adoption fee will include spay, all vaccinations, deworming, health check, microchip, and teeth cleaning. We already have almost $1000 invested in her vet bills, plus vaccinations, deworming, food, and microchipping paid separately. She was a breeder dog that someone dumped after taking her puppies (to sell). Hazel came in a month ago and was very skinny. She is very sweet and follows you everywhere. Loves sleeping on a big dog bed. Gets along with cats, dogs of all sizes, and a potbelly pig. She is not a big snorer or gassy like so many Frenchies are. 3/26/24 yesterday she was spayed and dental work done. I have all medical records - spay certificate, rabies certificate, our animal records, which 13 teeth were extracted and which ones remain, microchip tag and numbers.
