I'd never been walked on a leash before coming here, so I'm learning how to do that with the volunteer dog walkers here. Ruby is a wonderful, affectionate, darling girl who will excel in most homes. In her foster home, she lives with other dogs, is visited by children on a regular basis, and we know she loves both men and women. Ruby has visited an especially safe and friendly dog park and we have never seen any issue. We do think that she is also independent and strong willed; we seek a confident dog owner, one who understands how to create positive boundaries for her and other dogs in the home. She loves car rides, will sit nicely on a senior person's walker, walks well on leash or harness, and loves loves loves attention.

Hi, my name is Bandit. Even though I might have been a hard lot in life but I don't let it dampen my sprits. My foster mom says I was born with a cleft palette and I had to be tube fed as a baby.This is part of the reason I am a small boy because as a baby I didn't get enough to eat. I just had surgery to repair everything but it only partially worked. I eat just fine, and I love my treats. I prefer my soft ones. I love to play tug with my rope toy and playing fetch. I am only 2 pounds at 9 months old so I am going to be a little boy. I have one other slight problem is that my hind end is underdeveloped so I don't have a lot of bladder control. Because of this I have to wear diapers. My foster mom says I might get some mobility back since I'm running around so much more now. I get along great with both my foster dog friends. I also get along really good with everyone I meet. I am hoping to find a home soon.
