I Adopted Tayegen from PACC about 13 years Ago when she was 8 weeks old. She has been a wonderful dog very mild tempered, relaxed, and loves food. She has been a wonderful companion but she is not fond of children we currently have a 10-month-old and a 3-year-old and our house is too chaotic for her. She is an older girl who wants to sleep and has arthritis and our kids are too much for her. She has been staying with my parents but they are not really dog people. I just want the rest of her life to be comfortable and for her to feel welcomed and appreciated for the last year or so of her life. I would like for her to just live in a quiet home where she can eat sleep walk around a little bit and just enjoy a quiet and peaceful home. I am willing to pay monthly for food, beds, grooming, etc.

She is very affectionate and sweet, sits for treats and takes them gently, leans in for pettings. Very nice and well-behaved girl.” “Quan is a sweet girl. Nice loose leash walking from the beginning and took no notice of other passing dogs. We enjoyed a stroll around the park. She sat for me and took treats gently. Such a nice gal!”She has spent time in foster care and her fosters state: She is good with Large and Small dogs! She is very mellow and easy! SHe is house trained and loves her doggy bed. Her foster describes her as `KISSABLE, LOVING, CUDDLY, COUCH POTATO`•Do you have any funny stories or other information you would like to share about your foster? SHE WILL PUT HER PAW UP TO GET YOU TO COME OVER TO HER OR PET HER, LIKE SHE IS WAVING TO YOU, IT`S VERY CUTE, SHE LOVES BELLY RUBS AND ALWAYS WANTS THEM, SHE ALSO LOVES TO GIVE KISSESQuan has some allergies that come and go, so needs a family committed to keeping her healthy and comfortable long term. She shares her kennel with another easygoing PACC pup and is ready to head home with you today! Ask to meet Quan!!

Story
During the hot summer (and fall) months in Tucson, there’s nothing quite like a creamy scoop of ice cream to help you cool down from the extreme heat. We happen to be big fans of rocky road- chocolate ice cream with marshmallows and mixed nuts. Speaking of things that are brown, white and sweet all over, we’d love to introduce you to our very good boy named Rocky! Rocky’s former owner shared that he was affectionate, playful, crate trained, and always at your side. When he first came to the shelter he was quite nervous, but he has settled in and his amazing, sweet personality has come out. Rocky spent two months in a foster home where he did great with kids, cats and other dogs. He liked to sleep near his foster people at night, was well- behaved when left home alone (occupied with his own chew toys), and was house and crate trained. Rocky’s foster described him as a “goofy, floppy, silly, clumsy noodle boy” who is loving, gentle and cuddly with his trusted people. Rocky needs time to warm up to new people, particularly men, but with time will be your best friend.Here`s what one volunteer at the shelter said:“Rocky is such a fun little boy! He`s a spunky, friendly, fun guy! He loves to run around and around the play yard with his kennelmate. He is also an all-star snuggler. I was sitting on a bench this morning and he came and got right up onto my lap and gave me lots of sweet puppy kisses. He absolutely loves treats and he takes them very gently with a soft mouth. At one point both he and his kennelmate got up onto the bench on either side of me, and we had group cuddle time!”Rocky has shared his kennel politely with several similar-sized pups and has been playful, social, and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’s just a youngin’ and still has typical exuberant puppy energy; he’d love to find a family who will provide training and plenty of opportunities for exercise and love!If you’re looking for a dog who promises to bring you daily laughs with his goofy puppy antics, come meet Rocky today!
