She melts your heart with her gentle demeanor. This sweet doggo is a social butterfly, and she basks in the warmth of human companionship. Gisele has a penchant for affection. She’ll gladly lean on you, accepting scritches and pets with obvious gratitude. Her favorite pastime is chasing and fetching stuffed toys. She pounces on the toy and trots back with the cutest booty wiggle you’ll ever see! Although Gisele is a people-pleaser, she is not a fan of other dogs. Sophie is a sweet white/pied English Bulldog who loves to play in the water and is highly treat-driven. She was surrendered to us when her previous owners moved and could no longer keep her. Sophie doesn’t always play well with other dogs, but she gets along better with males. She mostly does her own thing and loves to follow her human around for attention. She would thrive, in a home with only one other dog, preferably male. If she is brought into your home I would not put her immediately with another dog but give her time and space with slow introductions. It will take some time for Sophie to feel comfortable and secure in a new home. Sophie needs a patient owner who can provide her with the love and stability she requires to feel at home. She is in good health for her age, but requires eye drops as she doesn’t see that well. We have had Sophie for four months, and during this time, she has shown her love for water play and her eagerness for treats. She is potty trained but she will most likely have accidents in transition. She is crate trained that is her home and she will let you know when she wants out. Her English bulldog talk is incredible and hilarious. She is not tested with cats but if you have some and they do their own thing then, she will be fine. Older kids are a plus not toddlers. She needs time to adjust and feel at home, so an understanding and loving environment is essential. Meet Rex, a stunning 4-year-old black and tan point English Bulldog with a laid-back personality. This guy has kind gentle eyes and a sincere personality. Rex came to us as an owner surrender due to an ear and skin infection, which has since been completely cleared up with antibiotics and a steroid spray. Now, he's ready to find his forever home! Rex is the ultimate lounger—he loves nothing more than being close to his human and cuddling up with his favorite stuffy, as he sucks on it. While he enjoys the comfort of his crate as his safe space, he prefers the door open so he can freely roam when he pleases. Rex is fully potty trained and sleeps soundly through the night. He loves his toys and absolutely enjoys antlers to chew on. When it comes to hanging out with his bulldog foster siblings, Rex is easygoing. He tries to avoid confrontation and is submissive as possible, but he will defend himself and give a warning. Sometimes he joins in on the fun, and other times, he’s content to watch them play while basking in the sun. He does play with a pack of 5 English bulldogs and French bulldogs every day and he really enjoys their company but he is always the first one wanting to come in the house. Rex enjoys his morning walks when the weather is cooler and is great on a leash. Rex also knows basic commands and is a well-behaved boy. He's very cooperative with his weekly hygiene routine, including cleaning his wrinkles, ears, and toes to keep him healthy and comfortable. Though he’s a bit restless in the car at first, Rex eventually settles down and sleeps for the rest of the journey, making him a great travel buddy. He can get overstimulated in public places with several other dogs (like any rescue) but is learning that it is safe and finds a way to grab all the attention.
