Story
Meet Gisele, a four-year-old English Bulldog with adorable wrinkles and a loving personality. Weighing in at 31 pounds, Gisele may have arrived at Home Fur Good thin and neglected, but her resilient spirit shines through. Despite her challenging past, Gisele’s enthusiasm for life is evident in the happy wiggle of her posterior as she eagerly approaches anyone willing to share a moment with her. She melts your heart with her gentle demeanor. This sweet doggo is a social butterfly, and she basks in the warmth of human companionship. Gisele has a penchant for affection. She’ll gladly lean on you, accepting scritches and pets with obvious gratitude. Her favorite pastime is chasing and fetching stuffed toys. She pounces on the toy and trots back with the cutest booty wiggle you’ll ever see! Although Gisele is a people-pleaser, she is not a fan of other dogs. She’d love to be the only pet in her forever home. Gisele has an inherited skin condition called Color Dilation Alopecia which causes her to have dry skin and spots of hair loss. There is no cure, but the condition can be managed with medication if she has flare-ups. For those who fall in love with Gisele, her adoption fee of $225 covers essential services such as spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and even a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Don't miss the chance to welcome this delightful doggo into your home. To arrange a meeting with Gisele, call 602-971-1334. Home Fur Good’s adoption hours are Thursday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Story
Sophie is a sweet and spirited white/pied English Bulldog who’s ready to find her forever home. She’s a water-loving pup with a hilarious personality and a big love for treats! Her adorable “bulldog talk” is guaranteed to make you laugh. Sophie was surrendered to us when her previous owners moved and couldn’t take her along. Now, she’s looking for a patient and understanding owner to provide her with the stability and love she needs. While Sophie enjoys being around people, she doesn’t always play well with other dogs, although she tends to get along better with males. She thrives in a home with only one other dog, preferably male, but she’ll need time and space to adjust to a new environment. Slow introductions are key, and Sophie will benefit from a calm, supportive transition to help her feel secure. At home, Sophie is a bit of an independent spirit. She loves to do her own thing but will happily follow her human around for attention. She’s crate-trained, and her crate serves as her safe space. She’s also potty-trained, though she may have a few accidents as she adjusts to her new surroundings. Sophie is in good health for her age but does require daily eye drops due to some vision issues. She hasn’t been tested with cats, but she’s likely to coexist peacefully if they keep to themselves. Older children would be a great match for Sophie, but a home without toddlers is preferred. During her four months with us, Sophie has shown her love for water play and her eagerness to please when treats are involved. If you have the patience and love to give, Sophie will reward you with endless joy and companionship. Sophie is vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and cleared by the vet. Her adoption fee is $800. If you’re ready to let Sophie splash into your life, please visit our website to apply or schedule a meet and greet. Let’s find Sophie the loving home she deserves!

Story
Say hello to Snapple, the sweetest, wrinkliest, and most lovable English Bulldog you'll ever meet! At 7 years old, Snapple faced an uncertain future on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Despite his challenges, his resilient spirit shone brightly, and now he’s ready to embrace his second chance at life. With his goofy personality and signature wrinkly face, Snapple is a certified crowd favorite. After completing a 4-week board and train program, he’s become a true gentleman! Snapple has not only mastered his basic commands but has also polished his manners, making him a delightful companion who’s ready to show off his new skills. This charming Bulldog loves life’s simple pleasures: relaxing in the cool air conditioning, being surrounded by his favorite people, and, of course, soaking up as many belly rubs as possible. While he’s laid-back at heart, Snapple also enjoys bursts of fun and playfulness, striking the perfect balance between chill and spunky. Snapple is healthy, happy, and looking for a family who will love him unconditionally and embrace his quirky Bulldog charm. If you think Snapple might be your perfect match, please submit an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. We’d be thrilled to answer any questions and arrange a meet-and-greet with this lovable boy.

Story
I have a beautiful senior English bulldog. He is around 7/8 years old and I'd like to share his story. His previous owners neglected him and he went without care for a long time. He is very friendly and good with other dogs who are calm. With his previous owners they did have other dogs around him who were puppies. My pup is having a hard time adapting and it's not fair to Bro. He has an untreated infected tail and I am not sure how long it has been like this. The previous owners couldn't get him into a vet and I will be taking him in for treatment. He needs to go to a home where he will get all the love and attention he has been needing all of his life, I just wish we were the home for him but unfortunately he has not gotten comfortable enough here. He is house trained but will need to potty frequently. He is the most loving old guy who will be the best companion and give you all sorts of cuddles and love.

Story
Mustard has been looking for a home to call his own for 175 DAYS!!! He is a classic bulldog, stubborn and sensitive. Mustard is a tiny compact little thing, weighing about 40lbs, but small enough to carry like a large football in your arms! He loves walks and playing tug with the bite sleeve. He’s got a lot of drive in his little body! Mustard is head of our water therapy department at Handover Rover. He LOVES the water treadmill and can max out its 9mph speed, no problem. Mustard makes sure to keep a close eye on the other dogs while they’re using it. He’s a brilliant coach. We don’t have any cats we could test him with, so we are unsure how he would do with them. He does great with dogs, doesn't care to play with them, but tolerates them. He likes to keep to himself. He is still in training with the rescue, but we love for potential adopters to follow him and be involved with his training. If you're interested in learning more about Mustard, fill out an application here: https://www.handoverrover.org/adoptionapplication *we do not adopt our dogs out to families with kids under 13

Story
Name: Ruth Age: 3 .5 years Sex: Spayed Female Breed:  Shar Pei/Cattle Dog Mix Weight: 29   pounds Adoption fee:$   200   (altered, vaccines up to date, microchipped, vet checked) Location: In Foster: please fill out an application at: https://azsmalldog.org/adoption-form/ Compatibility with other dogs: Selective, may be best as only dog, intro required Compatibility with cats: Unknown Compatibility with kids: Unknown, intro required Energy level: Moderate Requirements: Patient and loving family, dog intro, meet whole family, secure yard You looking for an adoring furry friend - and would love one that won't rouse you out of bed at daybreak? Ruth may just be for you. Ruth is a very special girl looking for her forever home. She loves sleeping in cuddled in her donut bed in her xpen, but would also love just as much sleeping in with her family in their bed. She came to us in January pregnant and was immediately sent to foster. There she gave birth to three beautiful babies who were quickly adopted. It was time for Ruth to find her forever home. Sadly, Ruth was on her way to her first adoption event when she was involved in a car accident and lost use of her left front leg. She has spent the last 6 months in foster recovering and trying to regain the use of her leg. Recently a determination was made that it would not fully recover and so her leg was amputated. Ruth however has not let that slow her down at all. Ruth is a happy go lucky dog who loves people and attention and being with her people. She can be pushy with other dogs (coming from her days in her original hoarding situation). This can lead to timid dogs feeling intimidated, and dominant dogs feeling the need to defend their space. She is potty trained (although an occasional accident may occur when routines are upended), x-pen trained, and through all the tough and painful times of her recovery has never gotten aggressive with her care takers. She has not been leash trained yet, but is looking forward to getting more walks now and learning the ropes. If you think you are ready to put in the work to add this sweet girl to your family, then put in your application today! **DON'T FALL VICTIM TO FRAUD - Scammers have been responding to comments asking individuals to private message them for more information or post spam sites.
