A wonderful cat that we found with a family of cats that was dropped off randomly next to the airport. Was about to rain and all the cats looked very lost and afraid, but Quicksilver came up with a wonderful playfulness even in an intense situation, and had been a wonderful house cat since. Unfortunately, both my spouse and I have realized we are very allergic to cats (1st time owners) and we can no longer provide a home for her. She listens extremely well (with occasional zoomies throughout the day) and LOVES to cuddle. Ideal for a family/owner that is looking for a cuddly, fun house cat.

Sophie is a stunning Egyptian Mau mix with captivating golden eyes. She's a sweet girl who adores other cats and was an excellent mama to her kittens (who have all been adopted). She can spend hours playing with her toys but she is not high energy. She can take time to trust her new humans and surroundings , but once she does, she loves attention and loves interacting with her human companions! Sophie purrs very intenseley when shown affection and is a sweet, quiet cat. If interested in a cat/kitten with a higher energy level than your current cat, adopting a bonded pair is recommended to avoid upsetting your cat. Slow introduction to new dogs and cats, according to the Jackson Galaxy method, is important to ensure they get along. FLUFFY KITTIES: Adopters must have experience grooming long hair cats or be willing to take a quick class on YouTube about grooming long hair cats. TRANSPORT DETAILS: Kittens younger than 16 weeks: adopters can fly to Austin or San Antonio airports for pickup. Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner with prior arrangement for a small donation. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ, New England and a few other states for $185 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost may be split amongst adopters. Out of state transport must have an Interstate Health Certificate as mandated by law by a qualified veterinarian for $85 - $125 each.
