Story
Percival came to us when his owner passed away. Cats express grief in many ways like humans do.He was curious, energetic, sweet, cuddly and well loved before. Now, Percy is hiding, hissing at everything, and very sad. We are helping him through his mourning period.
His ideal adopter will be prepared for the brilliance and high activity of his breed and patience for his mourning. Normally a very high energy cat, he will need lots of stimulation as he emotionally recovers.
The adoption fee is $300+ tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.
Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary. We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.
We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.
Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!
***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
