PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! KONA and her siblings (PELE - PRISCILLA - RINGO - FELIX - LULU) were saved from the shelter. They were so scared and underaged. They were in danger so we had to find a foster quickly! KONA has been ready for her FUREVER home for a long time! KONA is a playful girl who loves to talk. When she’s hungry, she will follow you around meowing at you until you feed her wet food. Her favorite place to be is playing inside of a cardboard box. She loves a box full of toys so she can jump inside and dump all of the toys out. KONA is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU-TABBY MIX. She is 3 years and 5 months old and is good with cats and small children. In her foster home, she is around other kittens and older cats. She has never been around dogs. She will do best with a strong cat that can handle her playing and strong will. Or she will be good by herself. KONA is currently located at a foster home in Beaumont, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. That said, it’s not uncommon for cats to live into their late teens or twenties. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. CASSIE and CASION were living in really bad area of Torrance, California. The independent rescuer was asked to help get the local strays fixed and save these 2 teenagers. We were more than happy to help! These poor little guys were so malnourished, sick and scared. So once there was space at our rescue, we picked them up! Meet CASSIE, a young feline full of life and love. Her personality is a delightful mix of sweet and independent, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a pet with a balanced temperament. CASSIE's curiosity is boundless, often leading her to explore every nook and cranny of her surroundings. She's got a goofy side too, making everyone around her chuckle with her funny antics. CASSIE is also smart, playful, and brave, yet she has a gentle, mellow nature. She can be a bit shy initially. She is a great cat companion. Not very sure of humans. CASSIE has a special fondness for canned food, her excitement at mealtime is infectious. Adopt CASSIE and bring home a friend who will fill your life with laughter, joy, and unconditional love. We would love to see CASSIE go home with her brother CASION. They are not bonded. But they have lived together all their lives. ************************** CASSIE IS AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT ************************** CASSIE is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU MIX. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. NEZUMI was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2021. He was young. Well fast forward to 1 year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. NEZUMI is the seventh one to be ready for adoption. NEZUMI can be shy at first. He gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. He can get startled, but will come back and investigate. He will then throw himself on the floor and demand attention. He is a very good assistant and loves to help you do your chores. He especially loves the mop. Oh and quite fond of his (we think) sister KOALA. NEZUMI is such a sweet love bug. All he wants is pets and love. Loves to play. He really loves to play with anything and makes you laugh with his silliness. NEZUMI comes running when it's time to get his can food. He will actually let you know to hurry up! He has the cutest face and his beautiful coat is very unique. His purr box is very loud. He's looking for his REAL FUREVER home. NEZUMI is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / EGYPTIAN MAU MIX. He is a little over 2 years old. He has lived with cats. He has lived with dogs. He has never been around children. Story
Pampered Pair Max and Katie are 13-year-old littermates, and a bonded pair. They have always been together and need to stay together in a new forever home. This pair were the pampered pets of a longtime Laguna Woods resident who has had to move into memory care. Max is darker and has tabby stripes; Katie is more tortie with some warm brown in her soft fur. Both have large greenish eyes. Vet-checked and current on shots, Max and Katie have been through a lot of changes, and depend on each other. They cuddle together and groom each other. Katie is more shy, and in stressful situations it seems to calm her to have Max nearby. Max is outgoing, and both are friendly. They do like petting and grooming attention from people. Both will roll over for a nice tummy rub. Max and Katie are nice laid-back cats who don't get into mischief. They're not interested in jumping on things. They both love their catnip scratcher boxes. Katie can be a talker and she often chatters to herself or to her foster. They seem content to hang out, relax, and nap, which makes them easy pets to care for and love. To meet Max and Katie, call/text Gina Hall at 949-330-0892.

Story
MYSTERY GIRL The Cat Club has a Lulu of a mystery on our hands with pretty Lulu. A resident reported a beautiful tabby at her door. Lulu's microchip led us to a woman near Los Angeles who gave Lulu to her mother, who lives in Fontana, 50+ miles away from Laguna Woods. The mother claimed that Lulu escaped and couldn’t be lured back in, so Lulu was left outside. The neighbors complained, and then Lulu suddenly disappeared. How did Lulu get from Fontana to Laguna Woods? Lulu is about 2 years old, a lovely warm brown tabby girl with lynx-style black tufts on the tips of her ears. She's friendly, a good eater, and interested in petting and playtime with her foster. She loves her wand toys and will leap into the air to catch them. She also enjoys her catnip cat pad and other catnip toys. She's a sweet cat girl who deserves a new and loving home. To meet Lulu, contact Carolyn Maxwell at 949-742-0066. You won't regret giving this girl a chance!
