Story
This STUNNING little lady is Rosemary, and she is crossing her paws for a forever family she’s able to call her own! Rosemary (female) was with the litter of Aussie pups who came to us semi-locally; they were not living in good conditions, and likely had never set foot on grass (as they were confined to a shed)…not to mention been inside a house, ridden in a car, known a loving touch of a human friend, etc. Despite her sad beginnings, Rosemary has proven her resilience and is truly thriving in her foster home! She is right around 6 months old, and weighs-in @ 22lbs. She is a cute, petite little thing! We estimate she’d only range around 35-40lbs when fully grown. In addition to her sweet size, Rosemary has the sweet personality to match! She is a very good listener, and really just craves validation and love from her person/people! She is an Aussie mix, so she’s an extremely smart cookie. Because of her breed makeup, she does require plenty of exercise + stimulation! She is *not* super high-energy, but is also a pup who will need her family to walk her plenty. Rosemary is fully potty-trained (with a few transition accidents to be anticipated, of course), will go in her kennel easily/without any protest or noise, and does very well with other dogs + cats! Although her favorites are definitely her humans! Due to her rough start to life, Rosemary can initially be a bit timid/shy. However, we think she’d do just fine with kids who are old enough to understand this + be respectful of her. At the end of a long day, Rosemary adores cuddles! She is learning all about the good life she has never before known…& it has been so rewardingly fun to see her blossom and come into her own. She’s truly a wonderful, beautiful, sweet, cuddly girl! If she sounds like the perfect fit for you, please apply + reach out via private message. Just ask for Rosemary! APPLY HERE: https://newleashdogrescue.com (or private message us if you’re already preapproved!)  **Rosemary’s $250 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines to date, and microchip. ##2121154##

Story
This dapper dude is Saffron--one of a few aussie puppies we currently have in rescue. He is 5-6 months old , currently about 25 lbs., and is more than ready for a home to call his very own. Saffron and his littermates are a bit shy and timid, but crave love from people. We do not believe they had seen grass or the outdoors until they came into our rescue, but they are young and should adjust just fine....but need time and patience. If you are looking for some soft, fluffy puppy love, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.newleashdogrescue.com His $250 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, and microchip ##2121629##

Story
Mama Salt is almost ready to leave her babies and start living the life she was always meant to live! Mama Salt is about 4 years old and 35-40 lbs. She is a great dog who is crate and potty trained. She does well on leash and off leash with commands come, sit, off, and go na-night (crate). She hasn't had a lot of exposure to cats but has done well with the little bit she has been around them. Salt loves all people big and little, young and old. Salt does well with other dogs.   Her $200 adoption fee includes her spay, heartworm test, microchip, rabies and distemper vaccines. You can find an application on our website, www.newleashdogrescue@gmail.com. ##2161365##

Story
ILloyd Montgomery and I was born 08/20/2023 in MN. The main reason I am looking for a new forever home is my older sister Callie Ann is starting several fights with me daily. My dad was working with her on the issues she was having with me, but sadly dad passed away suddenly. Mom’s tried everything but my sister hates me. I don’t start the fight, but I will defend myself. I try to hide. Mom found me in a horrible situation as a pup, skinny, covered in horse feces and so scared I wouldn’t stop shaking. So mom brought me home. I still am so scared to ride in a car, of loud sounds and being alone. I’m still working on potty training, I forget to go outside cause I want to play. I do jump on people, won’t sit still but really smart. I need lots of firm love and exercise. I run off leash, but learning now. I only know our family dogs, chew toys constantly, tug of war with dog family only though mom has tried to teach me to play with her. I get shy and stop playing.
