Story
This STUNNING little lady is Rosemary, and she is crossing her paws for a forever family she’s able to call her own! Rosemary (female) was with the litter of Aussie pups who came to us semi-locally; they were not living in good conditions, and likely had never set foot on grass (as they were confined to a shed)…not to mention been inside a house, ridden in a car, known a loving touch of a human friend, etc. Despite her sad beginnings, Rosemary has proven her resilience and is truly thriving in her foster home! She is right around 6 months old, and weighs-in @ 22lbs. She is a cute, petite little thing! We estimate she’d only range around 35-40lbs when fully grown. In addition to her sweet size, Rosemary has the sweet personality to match! She is a very good listener, and really just craves validation and love from her person/people! She is an Aussie mix, so she’s an extremely smart cookie. Because of her breed makeup, she does require plenty of exercise + stimulation! She is *not* super high-energy, but is also a pup who will need her family to walk her plenty. Rosemary is fully potty-trained (with a few transition accidents to be anticipated, of course), will go in her kennel easily/without any protest or noise, and does very well with other dogs + cats! Although her favorites are definitely her humans! Due to her rough start to life, Rosemary can initially be a bit timid/shy. However, we think she’d do just fine with kids who are old enough to understand this + be respectful of her. At the end of a long day, Rosemary adores cuddles! She is learning all about the good life she has never before known…& it has been so rewardingly fun to see her blossom and come into her own. She’s truly a wonderful, beautiful, sweet, cuddly girl! If she sounds like the perfect fit for you, please apply + reach out via private message. Just ask for Rosemary! APPLY HERE: https://newleashdogrescue.com (or private message us if you’re already preapproved!)  **Rosemary’s $250 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines to date, and microchip. ##2121154##

Story
Honey is an almost two year old austrailian shepherd who is ready for a family to call her very own.   She spent most of her first two years living in a shed, but is actually remarkably social considering her background.   She  is doing great with meeting people, including kids.  She likes other dogs and has ignored cats.    She is about 50 lbs.  She is active, but not hyper.   Loves to climb up on play things if availalbe and would likely love agility if her family wanted to get involved with something like that.  Her $200 adoption fee includes her spay, rabies, distemper, microchip and heartworm test. ##2213086##

Story
Oliver is a lovely colored merle Australian Shepherd. Oliver's owner was having severe health issues and tried everything she could to find him a home on her own. Oliver is almost 4 years old, he is house and kennel-trained. He does not do well with cats and smaller dogs. Oliver does best in a home with a submissive female dog. Oliver enjoys female company but is fearful of men/teenage boys. Oliver will need slow greets with men in the home, or no men at all. Oliver has had some training with the basics, but could use good refresher. He loves to play fetch, swim and go for runs. Being a herding breed Oliver will chase cars, bikes and likes to herd humans. Oliver is neutered and current on all vaccines.“I come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy’s team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle me into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).”

Story
Wanda is excited to meet people and doesn't let the fact that she is blind and hard of hearing slow her down. She is always looking to play and loves stuffies and nylabones. She happily plays with a person but will play solo if necessary. She also likes to be cuddled. She is looking for a patient home with a family that will help her learn the lay of the land and good manners.
