Hi, this is Scout. We are looking for a new home as our cat hates her, has not warmed up to her at all over the past six months and is very stressed with her around as well as schedule changes not giving us the time necessary to work with her as much as we should as she is a very independent dog. She is 8 months old and wants so bad to have another dog or cat to play with. She would be best on a farm(ette) or in a home with another dog or cat to play with/help her learn her new expectations. She is house and crate trained. She is still very much a puppy and does like taking things she knows she shouldn't have (such as sandals left out). She will need a family/place that has the time and desire to work with an independent dog. She is not a cuddler but does like to play with her toys with you and she LOVES water. She pulls when leashed but I do think she would be a good jogging partner and be great for someone/a family that would like a dog that does not demand a lot of attention.
