Story
Meet Ziggy! Ziggy was originally with Tiny Paws Small Dog Rescue last year when he was a 2 month old pup and adopted in December of 23. He is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Golden Retriever! He was returned to the rescue last week Thursday. The original adopter says that he jumped up on her oldest child and nipped his ear which caused an injury. Ever since, her kids have struggled to bond with him. What I see in Ziggy now that he's back in Rescue with me: Ziggy is gentle and SO SO SO well behaved! He knows all basic commands- sit, stay/wait, down, shake. He doesn't always like to come inside when called. He also needs work with leash pulling, but a good harness would probably do the trick. He is housebroken and has freedom to go wherever he wants in the house. Does lay on furniture and also likes to sleep in my bed. I have not seen any destruction or chewing of any kind. Original adopter says good with cats but has not been socialized with other dogs since he was with his previous adopted family. Ziggy is doing pretty good with his foster siblings. Working on boundaries if there are treats outside and he doesn't have one. Ziggy is also wonderful with my 7 year old. Previous adopted family says good with kids. I would agree. I don't have any concerns with Ziggy and kiddos. Thinking the incident mentioned may have been a puppy just being a pup. Ziggy's DOB is 10/7/23 He is neutered and appears to be up to date on vaccines. Will need to confirm. This is the perfect trained young pup!! He is available soon (pending vetting) with an adoption fee of $550 Please fill out an application if you are interested on the Tiny Paws website at www.tinypawssmalldogrescue.org

Story
Meet Molly, a mini Australian Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. She was found wandering the streets of a rural Texas town, wearing another dog’s tags, but no one came to reclaim her. Instead of heading to a shelter, Molly settled into a loving foster home while she waits for her big journey to Wisconsin. Molly is a sweet, cuddly, and calm girl who adores both dogs and kids. She has a loyal spirit and a joyful personality that makes her an ideal match for first-time dog owners and families alike! If you’re looking for a gentle and loving dog who’s ready to bring the joy, Molly is your girl! FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

Story
Hi! I'm Nessie and I'd love to be the newest member of your family! I am 8 weeks old and a little cuddle bug. I am working on potty training, sit, stay, and come. I am the perfect age and temperament to start training to go to dog friendly places! I love all other dogs - they are my playmates! I also love the cat I'm fostered with but mostly ignore him. I am new to crate training, but I almost never have accidents anymore and will let you know when I need to potty. I'm learning to use the doggie door, and I am picking it up quickly. There's only one thing keeping me from being the happiest and luckiest pup in the whole world - I need a home and family of my very own! Don't you want to be my FORever family? If you are interested in adopting Nessie please fill out the application on our website. Nessie is ONLY available for a local adoption, she is being fostered in Huntsville AL.
