Sunny is a bright, sensitive soul that seems to love everyone she meets. She currently lives with other dogs, has lived with dog savvy cats and children. She will smile at you when she meets you or if she is somewhat embarrassed. While she would love to adventure with you most anywhere (long hikes, rides in the car, a good run, traveling, etc.)she is also game to curl up next to you at the end of the day for hugs and gentle kisses. Sunny tends towards submissive and very respectful to her canine friends. She would love to learn as much as you can teach her and is a quick study. And while she will happily jump up next to you on a couch or bed, she will not (to date) jump even an 18` high baby gate.She is crate trained, but safe to leave out. House trained. Has great recall to her name, as long as she hasn`t been cooped up too long. Her hearing then becomes selective until she burns some energy. She has NOT shown signs of herding. She will hunt and track squirrels through the tree tops, and if anything runs, she`ll be after it. Sydney is a tri-colored 6-7 year old female miniature Aussie. She has been spayed and weighs 28 pounds. She still needs to be vetted. Sydney is housebroken, walks good on the leash, gets along well with cats and dogs. She has not been around kids that she knows of. Sydney is not crate trained and the owner does not allow her to sleep on the bed with her. She does not have a fenced in yard but is used to being tether in order to spend free time outdoors. The reason for the surrender is that the Mom found out her daughter that has a mental illness was living in her car with Sydney and rescued the dog. She is unable to care for the dog at this time. My name is Bandit but my foster mom calls him Nugget is 11 lbs.  I love to play also but I am also very happy just sitting on your lap or next to you and observe.  I love giving kisses. My brother's name is Smokey but my foster mom calls me Scout (the one with white on the back of my neck), I weigh 11 lbs and I am very investigative.   As you can see we are small but can hold our own even with the big dogs. Our father was Mini Australian Shepherd and mom was a Jack Russell Terrier. We love to go for walks on the leash in the neighborhood to explore. We are between 4 and 5 months old. Smokey/Scout: I love to play and check things out!  I give kisses when you catch me.  I can also be a little bit sneaky, so if there is a big enough hole I am brave and will slip right through there to explore! Let me introduce you to your new best friend! A gentle man in every sense of the word; the Amazing, wonderful, loyal and fun-loving Gunner. Gunner has learned so much since he has been in his foster home. Gunner is a 2 ½ year old male Australian Shepherd mix, weighing in at 40 lbs. He is fully vetted, neutered and microchipped. This guy is the full package: Gunner is fully house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. He will sit quietly at the door to go outside. He is trained in the following commands: come, sit, kennel it, off and go home. His foster will be happy to share the hand signal commands that she uses and Gunner responds to. This guy is like a sponge, very curious, smart and quick to learn new things. He has also learned to read facial expressions. He gets super excited and smiles BIG when you grab his leash and harness. When I leave the house, he automatically goes to his crate. At night he sleeps on his bed in the living room. This handsome, gentle guy LOVES people, other dogs (not cats) and ESPECIALLY the kids (his favorite). Let’s not forget those amazing belly rubs. WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE, right?! Gunner LOVES to run free in a fenced yard. He will also do fine on a cable lead and cable that extends from tree to tree and/or a long line staked in the yard, if not fenced in. He loves play, catch and retrieve and brings it back whether it be balls or frisbees. He also LOVES to go for long walks! Gunner is ready and searching for his forever home! He is perfect for a loving family with children, grandchildren and other dog friends. He would look so cute under the Christmas tree with a ribbon around his neck. Fostered in Cedarburg, WI.
