Originally a stray from the South, this `go-go-go` guy thrives when he`s the center of attention and is looking for a dedicated partner to join him on his next big adventure.He is an exuberant athlete, Sam is a dream running partner and a great match for an active household that loves outdoor engagement.Sam adores people! Because he is a `hands-on` player, he’ll do best with an active family who enjoys structured play.Sam is very social and loves the company of other animals. He is especially successful when he has a playful dog companion to match his energy. As with many social dogs, he appreciates having his own space and clear boundaries during meal times.He is very interested in cats and would do well with a dog-savvy, playful feline who can handle his `wrestling` style as he can roughhouses.He appears to be mostly potty trained. He is still working on his crate training and learning to be alone; currently, he prefers to be right by your side (and be warned, he’s quite the snorer!).Like all our pups, Sam will thrive with a patient owner who can provide the routine and mental stimulation he craves as he settles into a permanent home.If you’re looking for a loyal, athletic companion to keep you moving, Sam is ready for his next big adventure!Sam is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, dewormed, and is microchipped.If you are interested in adopting Sam, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
