Story
Welcome Mia to CCPAL Rescue. Mia is an 8-month-old Australian Shepherd/lab mix. She weighs about 40 pounds. She was found as a stray. She should be 50 pounds full grown as the biggest is our best estimate. She is friendly with other dogs off-leash. She has a beautiful medium length coat and stunning ice-blue eyes. She was found as a stray and is now in foster care here in Texas. Mia has a beautiful black and white coat. She has a nice soft coat and moderate shedding. She is good with all people and is very loving. She loves to play in the water and playing with sticks. She is a typical puppy. They are good at walking next to you in the yard. Mia would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She isn’t food assertive when eating and is not over the top wiggly. She is playful and outgoing. She is currently spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her forever home. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 if you have any questions. Please go to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com with questions as well. You can get an application online at www.ccpalrescue.org. Story
In Johnson, VT If you are looking for a dog with pep in their step, look no further. Lexi is a 2yr old, red-tri, Australian Shepherd, with an upbeat and fun loving personality even after a rough start in life. Lexi came to Australian Shepherds Furever after being surrendered by her owner, along with her 11 newborn puppies (6/17/24). Thanks to ASF and their foster, Lexi and the puppies were safe and thriving. Now that the puppies have all been adopted to wonderful homes it is now Lexi's turn. Lexi will need a fenced yard, and continued training on her recall. She is a quick learner and knows basic commands like sit, stay, come and easy. She is not a jumper even though she adores everyone big or small, and would like to be right with her people as much as possible. Lexi is a very loyal dog, and super smart. She is excellent at fetch, and loves belly rubs and going for rides in the car. Lexi is a very well behaved dog and can be left home alone. She is potty trained, as long as she is not left in the house too long or she might have an accident. Lexi would do wonderful in a home where she is the only dog. She is good with submissive male dogs and all cats, but not fond of the female dogs in the foster's home. She will resource guard her toys and food from other dogs, but not her humans. At times she can be picky about her food, especially if her favorite human is not home. She is still somewhat timid at the vets, but if they take it slow and easy, and don't try to pin her down she's fine. She has NEVER tried to bite even though she is very scared. Lexi is up to date on vaccines, and is spayed. She is being fostered in Vermont. If you are interested in making Lexi part of your family, please fill out our application. https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furver family.

Story
Say hello to Duke!! He is an approx 3 year old Australian Shepherd that is the sweetest love bug ever! He loves dogs, cats, people, everything! His downfall is he will clear any fence and will come when he wants to. He is trained on invisible fence, however, and is very good with that! He will not escape a fence if you are in the yard with him but he just wants to be with his people so he will escape if left alone. Duke loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with a fun furry playmate. He would love an active family that will take him on adventures and let him snuggle with them at the end of the day. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. If you are interested in Duke please submit an application to be considered.

Story
She is just under 1 years old. She is fostered with big dogs (Great Dane) and lots of little dogs, also cat friendly. A bit shy of men at first until she gets to know them. Poppy has been spayed and up to date on vaccines, on prevention and given great Veterinary care. As just a puppy - she is new to being on a leash and pulls from it so her foster is working with her on her. She is mostly house trained and follows the dog pack around. She needs a family to continue to socialize her and help her grow. Appears to be a mix of a Collie or Australian Shepard. Expected to be a medium sized adult dog with medium to long hair requiring regard grooming. Email to Apply! Adopt@CaffeinatedCanineRescueTx.org Fostered in Texas. *Adoption Fee includes transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners.
