Story
Blooper is a great dog who just needs a great home! We moved to a smaller lot and we just feel terrible for her here. We used to leave her outside while we were at work and she loved it. Since moving, we have a smaller yard and a very mean neighbor dog. She has been around small children all 4 years of her life and has never had any problems. She has always been fine with other dogs and doesn't bark much. We could keep her and would love to but for her sake we are looking for a new home. We are only looking for a new owner who has some space for Blooper to run. If you have some land, Blooper would be the perfect dog for you! She was born on a farm to two working Shepard dogs so she has the instincts. She really is a sweet dog that will love you forever!

Leo is a 5yr old tricolor toy Australian shepherd. He's a good boy but requires a lot of patience, attention and stimulation. He has a lot of energy and would need a lot of space to run around. He loves playing fetch and knows several commands. Unfortunately Leo has severe anxiety when it comes to other pets and can become aggressive around other dogs, particularly large dogs. He needs a lot of training that I can’t provide.

Cleo is a 4-year-old, 30-pound Miniature Australian Shepherd, who has been a beloved part of our family since she was a puppy. She is white and black with distinctive brown paws and is known for her intelligence, loyalty, and playful nature. Cleo was purchased from a breeder in Mansfield, TX, and has been with the same family ever since. She is up to date on all her vaccinations and has no significant medical history, making her a healthy and happy companion. Cleo thrives on play and exercise, with a particular love for fetching. She enjoys getting her energy out in a yard rather than going on walks, and her ideal environment would include space where she can run and play. She requires ongoing attention and mental stimulation through games and activities. She is very intelligent and loves mental challenges, making her a great candidate for a family who enjoys teaching their dog new things. Cleo loves to stay close to her people, often snuggling and seeking out affection.

Story
Bronca is super sweet and kind! She is very gentle and friendly. Owner is newly divorced, has to move, and can no longer give this cute dog the home and yard she deserves. CLOSING DATE is in a few weeks so would love to find her a good home ASAP. She is 7 years old, Australian Shepard Mix. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She's been an outdoor dog with a smaller dog, but could possibly learn to live indoors. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is friendly and sweet. She is not trained but recently learned the word "sit," so she has potential to be trained and is patient enough to learn. We really love her, but we just can't house her anymore through this big life change. I'm hoping she finds her forever home and gets lots of love!

Story
Henry came to us as a young pup and was diagnosed with Megaesophagus. You can see by looking at him that it does not slow him down. The absolute only thing different between him and any other dog is that he has to eat on two feet. Everything else is normal. Eating on 4 feet is not an option for him. However, he can drink and have treats on 4. He is crate, house trained, and doggie door trained. He gets along well with all size of dogs as he has several foster siblings. He is very loving and affectionate and believe it or not is sensitive. When researching this condition, ask questions as not all cases are the same. His foster has had two different ME dogs and both are very different. He needs that special person who will look after him and make sure he stays and healthy and happy as he is now. He would love to have a playmate too.

Story
Gordy is a fluffy cookie monster, trapped in the body of a Border Collie. He doesn't know how to herd livestock or chase balls. He'd rather sit pretty for treats than run after sheep.Gordy is as handsome as they come! His right ear always stands at attention, while his left cocks to the side and a smile is stretched across his face. He loves to play tag in the yard with other dogs and tries to beat the neighboring dog to the end of the fence line. Gordy may be a little slow when feeling at ease in new situations or with new people, but once he knows you're a good person, he'll think you're the bee's knees and want to be friends!Would you like to wake up to Gordy's smile every morning? Then contact OHAR to learn more about how to meet him!History: Gordy was turned into the Mesquite Animal shelter when found as a stray. Gordy is a happy, playful guy who is eager to please. He is crate trained graduated from obedience training where he was a star pupil.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule.
