Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Medora enjoys her morning and afternoon walks and will occasionally play, but her favorite thing is simply being near her person and playing with LARGE stuffed animals. She’s incredibly affectionate and loving, though she starts off quiet and reserved. Give her a few days, and she’ll warm up, seeking your company and companionship. She’s easy to please and thrives with owners who understand dog behavior and can help her build confidence. Medora would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention and doesn't have to share her people or food. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be by your side, Medora might be the perfect match!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2025, 10:35 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Emmy is a playful pup who is full of personality and fun! She loves romping around with her foster siblings (one small dog and three big dogs) but also enjoys curling up in your lap for snuggles when she takes a break from playtime. She’s soft, bright-eyed, and has the perfect mix of silliness and sweetness. For a puppy, Emmy is impressively well-mannered—she’s not mouthy or overly jumpy. She sleeps well at night, only waking up once to go outside. She’s also a smart little girl who enjoys working on dog puzzles and using her snuffle mat. She’s making great progress with potty training and leash training. Emmy would thrive in a home with another playful dog to keep her company. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, and fun-loving pup to add to your family, Emmy might just be your perfect match!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2025, 11:19 am

Story
URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Wichita Falls, TX Meet Jolie! She is an 6 month old Australian Shepherd and weighs 19 lbs. She is up to date on shots and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t spayed. Jolie is nervous around strangers! She is good with kids and cats! No smaller dogs, due to her reactivity! Jolie wasn’t socialized while in her previous home, so she has some leash reactivity. She is fearful of bigger dogs and will need slow introductions to any dog that she meets. She is housebroken (for the most part and will let you know when she needs to go out) and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering her because she plays too rough with their other dog and her other dog is afraid of her. The owner is also expecting a new baby and won’t be able to provide the time and attention that Jolie needs. She needs to find a new home by 8/25. If you think you can provide a great home for Jolie, please contact the owner listed below. There is a rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Jolie. Owner’s Contact Information: Cassandra cassie.sue.carpenter@gmail.com
