Maxwell is a stunning Australian Shepherd / Kelpie mix with silky black fur, born around March 2021. Adopted as a puppy, he’s now a handsome, well-behaved 59-pound dog who, sadly, lost his home due to landlord issues. Maxwell is nearly 4 years old and would make a fantastic addition to any family. Maxwell is housetrained, crate-trained, and has a wonderful temperament with children. He gets along great with other dogs and loves showing off his tricks! (But not all dogs) Maxwell also has a playful side, with a special love for toys. He loves to watch TV as well, especially when other animals come on the screen. If you’re looking for a devoted, family-friendly companion, Maxwell is ready to join your home. Please consider fostering or adopting this lovable guy and giving him the forever family he deserves. Dove Needs A Furever Home Since arriving at her foster home, Dove's been amazing. She's quite docile for a 10 month old pup. After living only outdoors, Dove & her sister have now decided they love to play with toys & sleep on soft beds. They're very grateful & gentle natured. Dove loves other dogs & she ADORES people. She's very personable & wants to be near her people.❤️ She's currently working on house training & leash training & she's doing great! Dove weighs 45 lbs & will likely be near 50-55 lbs when full grown. She's been fully vaccinated & heartworm tested negative. She's now on monthly heartworm prevention & flea prevention. She's scheduled to be spayed next week. Her breed mix possibly includes Australian shepherd, Australian cattle dog, & Anatolian shepherd, Great Pyrenees, & border collie. Leo is good with dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. He needs a home without children! He is housebroken and crate-trained. The owner is surrendering him because he wants to play and annoys one of their older dogs. This causes the other dog to react and sometimes hurt Leo. He needs to go ASAP! Duke has completed a long term training program and is now ready for the next chapter of his life. Duke was not treated well in the past and was pretty feral when we got him, but has come a long way in learning that humans can be nice. Duke is extremely cautious of new situations, people, & other dogs. It is my belief based on working with him for the past 2 years that Duke was completely feral & much less accepting of human interaction that originally believed. Once Duke gives you his trust, he is affectionate, playful, & fun to interact with. If pushed too hard, too fast, Duke will shut down temporarily & re-emerge when he is ready. Although Duke has no known bite history it is believed that if placed in an extremely stressful situation where he felt trapped, he would go into self-preservation defense mode, so he needs a very specific home. This sweet boy is extremely cautious with new people. Slow introductions & trust building helps him to willingly approach people he has been introduced to. Duke has exhibited same interest and disinterest to both men and women. No children under the age of 14yrs is recommended. He does not do well with younger high energy children. Duke has been dog selective. He has done best with female dogs but has accepted & played with male dogs that were established in the home when he arrived. Slow introductions strongly recommended. He has shown no prey drive including barn cats & chickens near but not easily accessible Duke has shown extremely limited interest in balls, stuffed toys, and chew toys but is an extremely athletic dog who can climb 6ft fencing. Smooth wood privacy fencing is required. Duke is 4 years old, neutered, current on immuizations and on preventatives.
