Story
Yoda is deaf but does know some sign language. He is a very loved and letting him go is very sad for us. Since our daughter has come along it is no longer safe to have him in our home. Yoda has an extensive bite history and overall does not accept being pet or touched in any fashion. He has come a long way and has received extensive behavioral training. However, he must be treated with extreme caution. He looks very friendly and he is so long as he is not touched. His love language is treats, chew toys and walks. He was adopted at around 1 and we think his environment combined with his inability to hear triggered extreme anxiety around touch and separation. The ideal person for him would be someone who also needs space but seeks to have a companion nearby. Yoda has separation anxiety so it is ideal if his new owner works from home. We would love for him to go to home which can provide him the space to be free. We are unsure how he would do around farm animals. Must keep away from kids.

Story
1-year-old Aussie/Border Collie mix, 45 lbs. Friendly with dogs; does well with my elderly small dog but can be a bit playful/pushy. Likely okay with cats—has shown calm curiosity on leash. Limited kid exposure; generally positive but once gave a warning growl when approached unexpectedly. Great on leash (EZ Walk harness), loose leash ~90%. Off-leash trained with ~80–90% recall in familiar areas; responds to commands like stay, wait, heel. Knows sit, come, down, drop it, leave it, and more. Crate trained; spends long hours crated, which isn’t ideal for him. Needs grain-inclusive diet; slight chicken intolerance. Very food-motivated and easy to train. No destructive behavior; minimal bad habits. Energetic but doesn’t require intense exercise—enjoys walks, sniffing, and short training sessions. Loving, loyal, cuddly, and goofy. Best suited for someone home more often or an active household. Rehoming fee $150; includes supplies. Meet-and-greet and vet reference required.

Story
For sweet Heidi, nothing beats a game of fetch and a snuggle. This young gal loves to sprint around and chase tennis balls - all that's missing is you to cuddle up with! "Heidi is very affectionate and likes to please," says one of her fosters. "She learns quickly and loves to kiss and snuggle!" - Heidi is very inquisitive and likes to sniff and investigate everything she sees. - Her favorite treats are rawhide chip snacks, and all she asks is that you have plenty of those on hand! - Leash-walking is new for Heidi, and she's quickly picking up the skills. She knows heel, sit, come and stay, plus she is fully crate- and house-trained. This quiet, easy-going girl would love to move in with parents who can give her that petting and cuddling she loves and continue her training. Come offer her some snuggles and she'll follow you home!

Story
Hilo is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a huge heart and an equally impressive cuddle game. He’s social, affectionate, and truly hasn’t met a stranger—new people are just friends he hasn’t snuggled yet. When playtime winds down, Hilo’s favorite place is right by your side, whether that’s curled up in your lap or stretched out near you on the couch. Hilo is very dog social and absolutely loves to run, chase, and wrestle with canine friends. He’s also met a resident cat and has been calmly curious and mostly indifferent, choosing dog play over kitty chasing. He’s fully potty trained, comfortable in a crate, and does well when left alone for a few hours. In the car, he’s an excellent passenger, happily laying down or gazing out the window. This playful guy is either all-in on fun or completely ready to power down for snuggles—there’s no in-between. He adores stuffed squeaky toys (especially the kind he can proudly destroy) and is actively improving his leash skills with regular walks and trail outings. With consistency, he’s getting better every day. Hilo still has some puppy energy and would thrive in a home that can provide daily exercise, continued training, and plenty of attention. He acclimates quickly to new environments and is eager to be part of a loving routine. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate companion who can keep up on adventures and then happily crash in your lap, Hilo is ready to be your new best friend. 💙

Story
Archer is a bright, active dog who loves having something to do and someone to do it with. He’s house trained and did great during a recent sleepover, settling into his own room and relaxing independently with no destructive behavior. He’s learning how to balance his energy and continues to make great progress. He enjoys fast-paced walks and thrives when he can get out and move. Playtime is a highlight of his day—he loves toys, is great at fetch, and has a blast chasing water from a hose. His enthusiasm makes him a fun and engaging companion for someone who enjoys an interactive dog. Archer is very smart and eager to learn. He already knows “sit” and is picking up “back up,” “drop it,” and “wait.” He responds well to guidance and would do well with someone who enjoys training and helping a dog continue to build skills and confidence. If you’re looking for a fun, intelligent dog who’s ready to keep learning and be your activity partner, Archer could be a great match. Reach out to learn more about adopting or fostering him.
