All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs. Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard. MAGGIE IS A TRUE "HEINZ 57" DOG. Her DNA shows Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Lab, Siberian Husky, Miniature American Shepherd, and several others!! She is under two years of age and weighs about 52 pounds. She is only slightly above the "medium" size but she is TALL so we chose to put her in the "large" category. MAGGIE IS TRULY ONE IN A MILLION! She ADORES other dogs and we are hoping she will be adopted by an active family that has another SWEET and playful dog. Clifford was facing euthanasia at a kill shelter and, even though he isnt an Anatolian, we felt compelled to save this sweet boy. Our best estimate is that Clifford is a Great Pyrenees x Australian Shepherd blend. Clifford's estimated DOB is March 2023. He currently weighs 65 lbs but he's pretty skinny under all that hair. He could use at least another 10 lbs. Clifford is neutered, heartworm negative and vaccinated. He appears to be in good health. Clifford is good with other dogs and is a very playful, energetic guy. He's housebroken and crate trained. Cliff does really well in his crate. He will do best with an active owner and may enjoy the company of another dog who is close to his size and energy level. Berne, means 'bear-like' and this boy is so cute and has the waddle of a bear! As cute as he was we noticed something else was going on with this boy besides being a tail-less wonder. His back end seemed smooshed. We got him checked out, after x-rays and evaluation he has a compressed spine. This is common in some breeds. We don't know his breed but it will be something he has forever. He is not in pain and still acts like a normal puppy. As he gets a little bigger, we will see if there are any remedies or treatments that might help him but we do suspect he will live a happy life and would be an awesome addition to any family. He may need to be in household with older kids so he doesn't get knocked around. He is potty trained. He is doing great with crate and leash training. He loves tug of war, bully sticks and pestering his older foster siblings. He has spurts of energy a couple times a day, doesn't last long and otherwise very chill! Vet suspects he will get to 30 pounds. This sweet boy was found as a stray in a park.
