Zoey`s lovable nature is irresistible; she`s excitable and affectionate, ready to shower you with love. She enjoys lap time and being petted. She`s a bit jumpy, needing some training, but that`s part of her charm. She is eager to learn about leash walking and house training so you`ll be proud of her. She loves to play, both with humans and other dogs, her playful spirit bringing a smile to everyone`s face. However, Zoey does have a bit of a food possessive streak around canines, but with the right guidance, this is something that can be managed. She has no experience with children. She was given up because her canine brother was jealous of her. Zoey`s unique blend of liveliness and calmness promises a perfect pet experience. Oh my goodness! This guy has turned out to be such a cutie. Arlo is a total character who will keep you laughing. Arlo was tied up behind an H&#226&#128&#145E&#226&#128&#145B for over 12 hours. Nobody knows how or why but thank goodness a Good Samaritan saw him and took him home. Arlo is an Australian shepherd mix about 3-4 years old. He weighs right around 40 pounds. He has the absolute cutest prance, a HUGE SMILE, and absolutely loves his “puppy massage” Arlo is up to date on vaccines and is neutered. Sadly he is heartworm positive but Scout’s Honor Rescue will cover the cost of his slow kill treatment. Est dob: 1/22/2019 Drax is a calm, friendly, affectionate, and very easy going guy. He’s about 4 years old and is an Australian Shepard mix. He is in a home with other dogs and has been with teenage kids as well. Drax is house broken, but always expect an adjustment when any pet enters a new environment. Unfortunately, Drax was fed way too much by his previous owners and has become a little overweight. He currently weighs in at 160 lbs which is way too much for him! He is on a vet supervised caloric diet which he has done very well with and has already started to lose some of those extra pounds! He is becoming more energetic as 4 year old dog should be, by playing more with his current foster's dog and toys. He would be a great addition to a family wanting to help him on his journey with starting off with slow short walks as he works towards his goals. Drax is in a foster home with other dogs and adults that he does well with. Please consider making this handsome boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we do require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet. This can be found on our website at : https://almosthomepetrescue.org/apply-now-1 $200 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care. All breed and size categorizations are estimates. If transporting out of state, the total adoption cost will be $500.
