Story
Please contact Tonya Griffith (TMSGriffith@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Posted on 12/2/17, and pictures were updated on 7/27/21.  Dahlia was transferred to me on 8/31/17 from the Rebel Ranch Rescue after the founder, Amy Allen, was murdered on 8/21/17.  Dahlia was one of 4 dogs still there that other rescue groups chose not to take.  She was scared and tried to chew the leash the first attempt to get her out of her dog pen, so a second leash was used as a muzzle.  She was also hiding in a hole under her dog house.  She had a male dog in the dog pen with her named Artie, who seemed to be attached to her. After being in a dog pen for about one week.  I decided to start letting Dahlia and Artie out to run, and they would chase each other around and then run back into the dog pen when done.  Dahlia also LOVES to get in water.  After another week of this, I decided to leave the gate open all the time.  They eventually moved to another section of our property.  Dahlia started climbing our 4 foot perimeter fence and running around the wooded area, but Artie has stayed on our property and made friends with the other dogs here, so he is not as attached to Dahlia as I first thought.  Dahlia got to where she came up to me to get pet, so it was easy to catch her when she was outside our property.  I put her in a small secure kennel at first with some can food, so she knew that going in that kennel meant can food when I needed to catch her again.  I now have her in a secure 6 foot tall dog pen, and she loves attention and getting pet.  She first found a way out through the chain link on top by getting on top of a dog house, but the chain link is now secure to the railing.  She needs a lot of space to run with a tall secure fence that can't be climbed over or dug under, and a source of water to get into.  It would be nice if she could get a job to do, since she is very trainable, and it might help keep her at a home. Dahlia was already spayed when transferred, and heartworm negative on 9/1/17. D.O.B.:     ? August 2013Weight:     47.6 - 9/1/17; 70.2 - 12/4/20 $25 adoption fee.November 6, 2024, 12:13 am

Story
She was my mothers dog and I can’t keep her due to her aggressive behavior it really only at home. I can’t keep take her to the dog park but she’ll stay by me and low growls if a dog is in her personal space. She can be good with dogs but it takes time she warmed up to my dog after a few weeks. It takes her longer to get used to people. I think it’s because we got her during Covid as a puppy and she wasn’t socialized after my mother died we took her in. I really don’t want to put her down and would love for her to find her a good home I know she’s capable with someone who has time to put the training in. She is very sweet and has attachment issues she doesn’t want to be to far from my brother but now that he’s off for college I have to find her a home.

Story
This is LG. The sweet boy was born feral and had to be trapped to be saved off the streets. He is fully vaccinated and neutered. It took LG a little while to warm up to people but he is on his way. He now walks on the leash and is trusting people, much due to the work of our volunteers. LG is Kacina's brother and is looking for a loving family that will provide him the love he so desperately deserves. LG was born around March 2015.If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
This gorgeous girl was dumped out on a county road to fend for herself. Thankfully we were able to save her. She is a darling girl of only about 35lb and is a gorgeous chocolate with white front socks. How cute is that! We think she is an Aussie mixed with something like Brittany or Husky. She lives with girls and boys of various sizes and ages and is just about perfect! She is Heartworm negative and waiting for her spay appt but can go home with you now!If you would like to adopt this sweet furbaby, please complete our pre-qualification application at this link: https://bit.ly/2CCVFPV#AdoptDontShop #TBCAnimalRescue

Story
Daisy is part of a bonded pair, so we really want to try to keep her with her sister, Kilo (the black dog in the pics), also listed on Adopt-a-pet. In many ways having two dogs is easier than one, because they keep each other company and active! She and her sister are Australian Shepherds, so they are high energy and needs lots of room to play and run around! Daisy is 2 1/2 years old, about 50 pounds, very affectionate, cunning, sweet, and calm (well, for an Aussie!). Her dad is having some health and work issues and is unable to give them the home they deserve. We want to make sure she goes to the best home, so we will require a questionnaire to be filled out. The rehoming fee will be donated to charity. Thank you for looking and for considering Daisy!
